game crashed for me at level 7, don't have any logs from the crash but i don't think i was doing anything specific enough to trigger it

The art and presentation are really nice. Had to play against myself to rate it but i can definitely see it being really fun with other people, the jump meter is kinda hard to see (and i think the one for the blue frog wasn't showing at all for me?) and i found the controls a bit unintuitive at first but after understanding them the game is pretty cool.
The atmosphere and art area really amazing. The combat is really hard to understand and I kinda wish i would have more options for stuff like whether or not i equip the weapon my enemy dropped, and i also did not understand what the option to spare your enemy was for? i tried it once, was told that my enemy hadn't lost their will to fight yet, and during the rest of the game i did not see any indications of my enemies "losing their will to fight" so i just never tried it again. Still really good job on the jam tho
The art style is pretty good and gives off a pretty creepy atmosphere. The gameplay is interesting but there's a few annoyance, like how if you're not holding RMB, then if you attack and then start backing out your flashlight just immediately turns around making it so you can't see what you were fighting, and every action being just a bit too slow. It definitely has the potential to be a really good survival horror game. Good job on the jam!
The art style is really nice. The controller had a bit of jank to it but still felt pretty nice to move. I feel like the level design could use a bit more direction, in all of the levels I'm really unsure if i finished them the intended way or if i just skipped through them, and the camera definitely gets in the way a fair bit. Still, really great work overall
mine is a horror-themed point and click adventure https://itch.io/jam/acerola-jam-0/rate/2583217
For platformers I usually like arrow keys for movement + ZXC for jumping and other possible actions (like the attack or dash in this one). A cool part of customisable controls is that in most engines you can write it in a very easy to reuse way, so making a system can you can just slap into any games is usually pretty easy.
The character animations are lovely and the movement was really fluid and enjoyable, even tho I usually dislike the control scheme (I like it more when platformers use Z or X to jump than the arrow key, but that's probably just a me thing). The challenge was a bit surprising but really fun. I feel like there could be some more ways to find your way around the map than the torches, but overall the game was really fun. Great job.
I love genre-mixing stuff like this. I feel like the default hunger could be a little bit longer (I ended up going into the console and changing it to 120 seconds to feel like i had a chance to finish the game) and the fact that you can do multiple actions at once definitely slipped by me the first few playthroughs so some tutorialisation for that would be appreciated (or at least mentioning that on the tips on the itch page). Really, really cool game overall tho, great job.
I really like the concept and the mismatched art styles gave the game a kind of unique charm. The execution could definitely be better tho, having to manage movement and shooting with the keyboard, but grappling with the mouse is somewhat confusing. I think it would be better if both shooting and grappling were controlled through the mouse and you only controlled acceleration with the keyboard. Good game tho.
The art style is really good and the system where the character is chained to the point is really fun. Imo the biggest problems is that the enemies spawn way too fast, making the combat be mostly just constantly mashing the K button, and that the movement is a bit slippery, making it very fast to just fall off the platform. The latter one also makes the fact that once you die you restart from the very first level extremely annoying. Good game.
