I like the part where the guy says "MONKEY MODE!". For such a simple game mechanic you were able to squeeze out a respectable amount of level design. Nice!
The game is very fun to play, although I must admit that I didn't quite finish it, because I couldn't figure out level 20...
I think this game nails what puzzle/action games are!
On the technical side I had some complains about the camera movement not being fluid and I think that you could increase the over the top nature of monkey mode a bit. For example instead of (what looks like) the default particles, there are rocks flying around (or the enemies flying away instead of disappearing) and maybe a bit of screen shake to bring home the strength of monkey mode!
All in all very fun (until the moment that it feels impossible) and the monkey mode music slaps!
That "Monkey Mode" line is so iconic. If you make anything monkey related again, you should use that. Hell, it'd make a good logo splash screen sound.
Those are gorillas I am pretty sure. 0/10 for accuracy, but 10/10 for gameplay.

the "MONKEY MODE" sound clip was fantastic and I repeated it for hours lol. Fun little concept. I enjoyed finishing the levels. Wish there was more, but it was enjoyable. Really great art and music.
Going monkey mode was really satisfying! The art and audio came together really wall at those parts. I liked how in the earlier levels, there were multiple ways to get 10 bananas, giving options - I felt like this freedom of choice was missing in the later levels, and it turned into more of a puzzle game.
It is very satisfying going back and killing the gorillas that were beating me up in the later levels.

I beat the game with 76 deaths! Really fun game! I love how simple the concept is and how clever the level design gets toward the end. The music and voiced sound effects are also really charming.

This game really makes you FEEL like you are going monkey mode. Loved it! Unique and fun, didn't expect it to have so much depth. Just kept going and I was pleasantly surprised with each new level! Monkey Mode!
Loved it! The puzzle aspect of it was fun and also the theme song is amazing! Feels really good to switch to MONKEY MODE. Might try to complete the rest of levels later after reviewing other games.

Loved the voice acting haha. I found Level 3 was surprisingly the hardest outside of all the later ones lmao. It's a very simple idea but what made it amazing was the execution of strategy within the level design. Amazing job!
Level 3 was intended to teach the player that once they go monkey mode if they collect more bananas they can stay Monkey Mode longer... Looks like that level didn't do a good job at that.
Oh... I didn't do that. I had more fun absolutely speed running and path maxing my way to the end in monkey mode. Made it just be 0.1 of a banana.
The idea is very simple but it works and I had fun! The catchy music really gets into me. Some of the later levels is a bit too hard mainly because of the enemy AI speed.
