Fun little platformer, impressive number of levels! I was really pleased to see that you weren't afraid to add some difficulty into the mix (at least for me lol).  Really reminds me of the original pico- 8 celeste in a fantastic way

Once the down parry clicked, this was very addicting

Like the idea of focusing on parrying, and the music is pretty good, it was hard getting use to the timing but once I got it down it became a lot easier. Also love the pixel art really good!

Amazing game! Really appreciate that even though it's a game jam game there's a lot of skill expression. Felt fun to improve at the game :)

Really fun! Reminds me a lot of Shovel Knight, and the pixel art is fantastic.

This game is very slick, though the power theming is a bit thin. I think a slightly simplified control scheme would be all you need for this game to go to the next level. (Having to aim your parries doesn't seem to add much to the gameplay) The presentation is top notch though, from the menu animation to the sprites.

I agree with others that the idea was great. I'm a souls fan and the parry mechanic in this game has that same satisfaction as other souls games. There are some hiccups but overall had a ton of fun playing.

Beautiful art, great idea.
Nitpicks: Why this control scheme? Why mouse click, instead of any other button, if you can't contro lthe parry direction with it?
The controls feel a bit floaty.
I really do not like that the enemies swords glint, and then 0.25 seconds later you have to parry, instead of right after the glint.
You can both parry and get hit by an arrow.

Cool idea. Sick art too.

Original mechanics, good level design and amazing art! Fun to master and great for speedrunning.
I'd consider allowing the music to play continuously. When I was figuring things out I got quite familiar with the flute :)
Anyways, really appreciate this game!

Super creative idea! I really like how your only "attack" is to parry. plus the music and art was gorgeous!

I absolutely love the visuals but I will say I felt like the gameplay felt a bit unpolished. I probably just suck tbh but I feel like it could use some fleshing out. Otherwise though, great concept and game

Very fun concept and super impressed with how polished everything feels

The art style and parry mechanic fit together like a glove! Controls were nice and tight and nothing felt unfair. Good job!

Very polished, fantastic looking game! I really want to continue, couldn't pass the fourth level, need to parry the trap on the platform? I would sell my soul to be able to make jam games like that.

I've died more times than I'm willing to admit in this game.

This gamereally makes you feel like you don't how to parry.

Fun game! Really hard, but rewarding. Well done! I had a really hard time and was a little disappointed about the fact that I could not seem parry two enemies at once. Great game overall!
