This game looked great, sounded great, and was super easy to pick up and play! The tutorial did a nice job teaching the mechanics as I went, really awesome little game! Very well done! :D
A game that balances simple combat with strategy. I love the thought I need to put into moving to direct attacks while avoiding enemies. Each enemy holds a distinct silhouette with bold colors allowing easy readability. And lastly the music is lovely. Great game!
What a fun and well-made game! I loved the gameplay, the graphics, and what fun music! It's all very well done, even the sound effects, great job! Try our game too!
This game is really well designed. All of the patterns are interesting, and it reminds me in a good way of Crypt of the Necrodancer. I love the power mechanic, how did you add bullet time to a turn based game?! Super good! Great music and cute GBC style graphics.
This game is so sick. It feels so good to closely dodge enemies and turn the tide. The power up mechanic is also super cool, being able to take two moves. It gives a lot of flexibility that I really enjoyed. The graphics cooked, the gameplay cooked, this game is CLEAN.
Groovy jams! I wish I could play this on a gameboy color in the backseat on a road trip to my grandma's house in 2002.
I really like the gameplay, artwork and especially the music here! great work
Loved the music in this one!
Also was pretty fun to punch the shit out of these creatures. The Powermode was also pretty nice, even tho I felt that it needed long to recharge. Very fun concept!
I love this retro art and 8-bit like music!! The game is very easy and fun!
I really thought I left a comment, but I've just noticed that I didn't but this game definitely needs praise. More people need to see this game! The concept is great and fits the theme beautifully. The art and music are also extremely well crafted. I'm not the biggest fan of these kinds of games, but this one really got my attention, which's gotta mean something. Please go play more people's games and leave comments so they will check your game out, it truly deserves it!
This game deserves more attention. It feels really fleshed out. It's really fun and I don't have any complaints. Nice one!
I love the mechanics of this game, this is really well done!
This game is phenomenal! I've been playing Void Stranger recently and this game reminds me of it in the best possible ways, I love it!
This game is very good. Super intuitive. I'd give 6 stars in fun if I could
super stylish, really liked all the enemy design. nice work
Great job Sean! How you managed to make two games for two different games and both be interesting and unique is really quite impressive. This is definitely my favorite of the two. It's firmly in the action-puzzler genre that I love so dearly.
love the style in this! looks super clean! big fan of how everything moves on the grid system as well. always love to see that type of movement system in games.
Hey, thanks! Me too, I love roguelike-style movement in grid-based games. (I have a severe case of grid-brain when it comes to game design)
Wow, this is a very cool game, the best one on the jam so far, I want the full version! It's similar to Into the Breach, but with direct control, and very well-balanced mechanics. The theme of the jam is revealed perfectly, the visuals and gameplay are great!
I found a small bug - if the keyboard layout is not English, the Z/X buttons do not work. Plus it is not always clear from the visuals where the robot is looking to shoot correctly.
Thank you! I love Into the Breach, so the comparison is very flattering.
Sorry about the keybind bug, I hope it at least works after rebinding it in the Options menu!
