Great game! Gives me similar vibes to making a redstone contraption, itches that computer science brain of mine. art was nice, I think having levels of different puzzles that can introduce you to each contraption over time, and then having the normal mode as like an endless mode you can play would be awesome and really benefit the game! Well done!

Ey, i like your game and i love your sfx sounds, those really added some ambiance and charisma to the game, the puzzles seemed a bit hard for me, but i did really loved the mechanics made ^^
All of the components are super fun and feel really distinct from each other, as do each of the goals. The roguelike aspect just pushes the game even higher. Amazing job.
Here's a vod of me playing your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2373494360?t=00h11m07s
Was already a little biased because I love games like this, but what great execution! I'm always worried about randomized elements for these sorts of puzzles, but it all ended up working out very well. Every item worked exactly how it claimed it did so there were no surprises, and it was very funny seeing how the additions to the goals would completely derail previous solutions. Ended up making a barricade around a guy I needed to keep alive and watched as the generation slowly made the barricade less and less effective.
Also my favorite cheat was placing items that would fall on top of platforms for guys I needed to take out and them just falling off the platform because the bomb was obstructing their space. Got lucky finding that one out, but new obstacle gens would bamboozle even that technique sometimes!
An Addictive and Satisfying Modular Puzzle Game! 🧩⚙️
This game is absolutely brilliant! 🎮 It offers great freedom, is easy to understand, incredibly satisfying, and provides endless possibilities. It’s almost like a sandbox game, super ingenious and original. I never expected to find something like this during the jam, and I’m enjoying it a lot! 🌟 Every element is perfectly chosen, and the game feels fresh with every attempt. It’s so satisfying to watch these perfectly tuned machines come together piece by piece. 🛠️💡
However, due to Godot's physics engine, the game sometimes feels non-deterministic and relies on randomness. 🎲 It would also be great to have an option to validate your setup and move on to the next objective, especially in a game that’s all about experimentation. And at times, the random spawns feel impossible. 🔴
In conclusion, this is an excellent game! 👏 Fantastic work, and I really hope you have more original ideas to offer to the gaming community! 🎉
I started off thinking it was kinda cool, then ended up playing for almost an hour! Very fun, addicting gameplay, and I liked all the different tools and the amount of creativity I felt I could put into it.
Fantastic job.
Well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions.
This game is a ton of fun. It's the ultimate representation of any developer trying to fix their bugged, outdated code. Reminds me a lot of ultimate chicken horse. Great stuff!
This is so good. So polished, and such a unique game relative to all the others I've seen so far.
one of my favorites in the jam so far! im usually not a fan of rougelikes BUT this one has so much charm and is unique enough where even i like it... GOOD WORK!!
holy shit this game gets chaotic. this is so much fun. i love the presentation. suuuuper good.
I would put down a mirror to do complete one objective, and then the next objective spawns and the contraption I just put down would invalidate that new objective forcing me to build more contraptions to undo my first contraption all while still trying to complete all the objectives. It was a wonderful time haha
The music and sound effects are funky and groovy! I really enjoyed that aspect too!
I had a lot of nostalgia from my childhood playing The Incredible Machine! I couldn’t ever make the rocket work and seemingly softlocked the game by accidentally pressing spacebar while I was firing a charge. Besides that, I enjoyed all the funky parts you added:)
Dude I played Incredible Machine: Contraptions for hours and hours on end, that series is my childhood! Glad you enjoyed our game :]
We've seen a couple players assume they're softlocked because the game is still in "play" mode but nothing happens to be moving - we probably could have had a better visual indicator of that.
got me building impractical systems that only work out of pure determination. Just like during the jam
