Please make an fov adjuster.

I don’t really see the point of that in a game like this honestly

The game looks cool, good graphics and sound. However, the control of the fighter did not seem very good to me.

Amazing. Is this a sequel to jermerys idea of capitalism?

Ye!

What an incredible cinematic experience! The narration at the beginning of the tutorial had me in stitches—it added such a delightful touch of humour. And the music? Absolute perfection. It complemented the gameplay flawlessly, enhancing every moment. While the controls took a bit of adjustment, especially for someone not accustomed to flight sims, I eventually got the hang of them and found them quite satisfying to use. And let's talk about the boss design—absolutely awesome! Each encounter was a thrilling challenge that kept me on the edge of my seat. Overall, a truly memorable gaming experience!

The sense of scale is insane, you can't even see how big the worm is in one glance. It's also very beautiful, the effects are incredible too, you are here for an epic fight

That being say, I see two problems, the plane is not slow but it lacks a some flexibility, it's a bit too "realistic" in movements to adapt when the big big bosses are extremely close, and that's a problem because of my other point, visibility is not that great, I had problems identifying the sky, the ground and the boss texture when very close, there's also no indication if I'm looking up or down.

But very fun nonetheless! I had a great time :D

An absolute spectacle.

Visuals are great. Sounds are great. Music is great. Game is great. period.

The whole scale the game operates on is absolutely insane.

So now the nitpicks, :

  • The production value of the game is high. And because of that, things like the full UI being visible even during the intro cutscenes, take away from the experience. high production quality = high expectations all around.
  • The default controls feel very bad for me, but turning of freelook improves it a lot, so not going to let that effect the rating. I'm thankful for the option TBH.
  • You expect me to read tutorial messages, when a huge ass sea serpent is prancing around in the background?!
  • The machine gun feels and sounds weak, with very limited range.
  • The missile lock on - not using the mouse and freelock - is sassy
  •  The VFX sometime block the view completely
  • The main mechanics: Skimming, Dodging and Ultra Attack should be introduced by actual usage, cause they are absolutely required to enjoy the game.

Insane quality. Great Game.

This is nice, but there is something should done better with controls. Maybe you should reference controls like warthunder/freelancer games. Nice design overall, keep it up.

Developer

I referenced controls from ace combat / project wingman / Microsoft flight sim..... didn’t know it would alienate the war thunder audience....

The atmosphere of this game is amazing! I’m a sucker for giant bosses. The controls felt clunky, but I couldn’t tell you exactly why, and they’re good enough once you get used to them. Also, most of the exchange elements, along with the weapons felt like they didn’t really matter. The only thing that really seemed to matter was grazing to charge the railgun. Grazing taking health didn’t really even impact things that much.

This game looks really good, and feels awesome except for one part: the controls. The controls are not friendly to people who aren't used to it and controls like the one used in War Thunder could've made the game much easier to play. But sadly, there isn't even a way to turn horizontally, which would have made the controls a million times easier to use.

Developer(+1)

yeah, sorry about that, the controls were modelled after games like ace combat and project wingman.... I’ll probably add more control options for a post jam update, it’s just hard to appeal to all audiences considering how many different ways different games get you to control planes

Wow, this game is awesome.  You get a good sense of scale with the bosses. Controls were difficult but satisfying to get the hang of. Please make more Jeremy games.

Bruh the game looks gorgeous!

Woah, the sense of scale is nuts! I have never played a game like this, couldn't figure out how to aim, but the visuals were fantastic.

Such a great presentation and sound design, fun unfortunately I couldn't figure out the controls properly. Also my mouse sensitivity was like 1000% for reasons T_T

Developer

pro tip you can turn off the mouse camera in the settings

Loved this game! really had fun. A left and right yaw would be nice, but I still killed the bosses and had a blast!

Cool boss fight, cool art visual. control a bit weird since i can't pan

As someone who only recently got into ace combat, this was really cool lol.

You really nailed the scale of both the bosses here, and the audio and video presentation accompanying both of them was amazing.

However, I feel like the scale was a bit of a detriment at times since it was hard to orient myself. Especially after coming into contact with a boss.

Still, the game as a whole was still very readable even with all of the effects and explosions. Really good stuff here overall
