Game's Take on the Theme
The names and appearance of the bosses are themed after spinning, and you attack using bullets that spin around you as well as a boomerang, which spins as it flies across the air.

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes, but not the music

If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.

Its really funny looking game, I like the visuals that are so colorful and the mechanics are nice, I rate graphics and fun on top but all is cool, also if you have time, please rate my game too, thanks!!

I've defeated Mr Spinash, the garden is all clear, i repeat, THE GARDEN IS ALL CLEAR ! Such a funny game :p

Very fun entry, ended up beating it and liking it way more than I expected, great boss design and well though out character controls. Keeping track of all weapons while avoiding the enemy patterns is a thrill. Maybe there should be a little less downtime between collecting ammo packs.

Thanks for the cookie!

When I saw the cover, I knew it would be funny, but the cookie was a total surprise. A truly majestic game!

unexpected gem xD the funny cover art brought me here and i actually beat all the bosses. the balancing was very good and controls felt responsive. actually similiar mechanics to our game. thx for sharing! also funny background just ground :D :D

The balancing here is surprisingly very tight, it's usually very hard to do resource management and make it feel fun but I think you really nailed it here. Lots of fun risk reward mechanics, and the bosses have a bullet hell feel while still feeling approachable with the player's movement and skillset.

this was snuck up on me. Seeing the art style I thought it was gonna just be kinda silly but the way the different attacks work are actually pretty interesting. I had a lot of fun with this one! Well done!

I got the cookie. I had more fun than I thought I would've. This game is actually very well balanced, at first I thought that having the bullets be so limited was a bad choice, but then as the game went on I found it made the boss fights a lot more intense, with me just trying to get as much damage as I could with the boomerang until the bosses gave me ammo. I would say that the boomerang needs to be faster but I'm not even sure if its that needed? There were situations where I just threw the boomerang and manipulated the boss so he walked in its direction, that wouldn't be possible with a faster boomerang. The only real complaint I have is that the cooldowns could be smaller, I really enjoyed throwing the boomerang and the boss fights could be faster because of less cooldown. Aside from that, just a bit of polish and game juice would make this perfect, this is really fun.

I really appreciated being able to pick up the boomerang to reset the cooldown. That was a really nice approach to manage the limited ammunition as well as implement the spin theme into your game!
