Really fun game you developed here! I was completely engaged during my ~20 minute playthrough. Great buildup of economy over the course of the game, gave me some cookie clicker nostalgia for sure. I can't really think of much in the way of criticism except that the refueling mechanic maybe isn't necessary aside from slowing down the super early game. Anyway, great entry.

Here's my gameplay video playtest if you're interested in some more in-depth feedback!

just wow, played the game for almost half an hour and didn't even notice the time go by. really fun and addictive. Would be a really fun mobile game to kill some time on during commutes.

Fun, and some chest gave me all I needed to end the game :D

That was the best game i've played in this jam, relaxing, engaging to play more with cute graphics and cool music. Wonderful job!

Almost spent an hour playing this game straight LOL! I like the simplicity of the game, and it's pretty fun to play!

Very addictive game with a satisfying runtime and excellent audio implementation: all elements were balanced well to create a very fun fishing experience that was not too overwhelming. Also loved the story and thought that it was a fun touch that showed you were able to maintain a healthy pace in completing your jam project.

P.S. If you have a minute, I think you would really like my team's game "Growing Up"! :D

Was surprised by how much story/lore was packed into this concept! Also great simple but clean visuals + fantastic music/ overall audio soundscape.

This was really fun. The gameplay loop is super simple, but super fun, the upgrades are good and well balanced, the art style is good, sounds are great (Especially the money $sound$). Overall it was just a really fun game to play. and the story is also really funny and good. the only negative I could think of is that the refuel machanic is kinda useless, since you only refuel 2-3 times every playtrough it becomes more of an annoying thing to keep track of (But this is just nitpicking). It was a real fun game.

Great game. Keep it up ♥

The graphics look great, the gameplay is fun, and it seems fairly polished. I always end up loving the Godot games in jams.

Great game and nice concept I manage to buy all the power ups but I die because I don't know that pressing R is the refuel
Then here is the bug: when you press retry some power up didn't restart, like speed, and air I think
but over all great work and nice music choice! I love the art too

Wow, this is such a fun game! It was really fun to play and it felt amazing and satisfying sending all the divers down to collect as much money as possible.  I really have nothing to criticize here, one of the best games I've played in this jam so far. A great, short, rewarding experience ^^

Great game! Feels like a groundwork for a niche between idle and arcade games.

"You realize you should have gotten paid in advance"

This is a great entry, one of the best so far. I absolutely loved the art and gameplay, It was pretty much balanced, and overall very solid game.

As you can see, I played till the end, and I have only one thing to point out as critique. I think there is no need for fuel mechanic, since it does not really affect gameplay even in the very beginning.

Cheers!

Try loading the game again and run out of fuel. There is another funny dialog hidden behind losing.
