How does your game fit the theme?
You have to dive into the ocean to take pictures of the underwater life.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, I did the music and I used both personal and free assets. See the in-game credits to learn more.

Great game. This was like really relaxing to play, which was something I really needed after this jam. and I played this for way to long. it was fun to just float around in the water searching for cool fish. eventually I even got a picture that was worth like 1.3 milion points, which was pretty sick. And in my opinion the fish movement was really good, probably since it felt like they kept running away from me, which is axactly what realy fish do!
my only complaint would be that the movement feels a bit funky sometime. and I couldn't find the boat :( But this was still a really awesome game!
Great game. keep it up♥
Thank you so much! The fish movement are based on a flocking algorithm.
The movements could have been improved, but I ran out of time.
Thanks for playing and for your nice feedback, I appreciate it!
Good job, but it would be nice to work on optimization, this game lags for me.
Sorry to hear that!
Nice game and felt good for educational purposes too! One of the clearest intros in terms of how to use the controls as well, and a very cute art style. If you plan to polish in the future, then I'd recommend implementing a click to continue/speed up the intro as it's long. It lagged a little on Web for me, so maybe making a downloadable build in the future is an idea :D
Thanks for your feedback! There is a downloadable build already :)
Ups missed it, thanks:)!
I really liked the atmosphere of this game! The way it looks and the fishies swim, very relaxing and serene. It feels like I myself am diving in the water! The intro is also well-made and cute!
The only minor complaints I have is that sometimes the fish swim through the stones and obstacles, making it a bit frustrating if you were close to the perfect shot of a cute fish and he just vanishes haha. And I did never really use the space/shift buttons to swim up/down, simply moving forward while pointing the camera up/down does the job better for me.
Other than that: A very calming, cute entry with good sound design (your bf did a good job with the music! :D ), had a lot of fun playing it, well done^^
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah I know the fishes movements are not really polished, I didn't have time to correct this. And I agree the shif and space buttons are optional. Thanks a lot for your comment and for playing my game!
The scenery was breath-taking(I drowned). Great Submission!
Ah ah, thanks for playing!
I found the idea interesting and really well executed. It was fun to play and take pictures of the fishes!
Thank you!
Nice job!
Thanks!
I really enjoyed the music and the text in the start really cool idea overall!
Thanks! The music was composed by my boyfriend especially for this jam and I'm really happy with the result!
Sensetiv is a bit high, it would be nice to have that in settings, also when you hold W and than hold D its kinda going only to right not forward-rigt, but when you hold W+A its going forward-left. Overall I like the screenshot mechanics and displaying info of pictures (like Distance from camera). Very nice!
Thanks for your feedback! Yeah the movements could have bben improved, but I ran out of time.
Great game! It is an interesting take on an underwater game.
Thanks! Yeah I wanted to do something chill, and I love taking pictures in real life ah ah
Yeah I did the exact opposite and made an extremely difficult boss fight game :p
loved it :)
Thank you, that's so nice!
I haven't seen this kind of game in a long long time, and from these details around the game, you seems to really enjoy making it! I think that the tutorial could be teach along with gameplay tho, its a lot of information for the first experience! But overall this is really great game!
Thanks a lot for your feeback! Yeah I agree there are a lot of things to explain and it could be a little overwhelming when you start for the first time ah ah. Thank you for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it!
Well made! It's fun--- I really like the underwater music. The photography system is fun and its addicting. I got almost 800,000.
Thank you! Congrats for this high score!
Wow this was a pretty well made game! I loved how you managed to even add in a small tutorial in the beginning as well as some extras such as unlockable upgrades! Really scratched that itch for photography games like Pokemon Snap and such. Movement took a bit to get used especially for moving up and down, was kind of difficult when recovering air. Overall, I enjoyed it!
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback and for playing my game, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I've really enjoyed the photography game genre since I found out about a game called TOEM and somehow your game popped up on the first line of the page. This game will be my inspiration to make a photography game with my own adventure. Although there's bit weird at movement, I find enjoyable while swimming around with calm music >w<
Thank you for your nice comment and for playing my game! I didn't know TOEM but it looks great!
Really cool Game! I haven't played a game like since I used an N64. Taking cool pictures was awesome. I do think that upgrading the tank probably should have been from some achivement such as getting some amount of points, or take a picture of a particular fish, or both. To make it so, the is more of an incentive to keep the character alive.
Thanks! Yeah I totally agree, I wanted to do a whole upgrade system with the points and multiple choices, but I ran out of time. I added this at the last moment. Thank you for your feeback and for playing!
Nice job! It's a fun twist on the theme and I enjoyed taking pictures of the fish! Going from underwater to air was a bit glitchy but other than that nice work!
Thank you ! Yeah I agree the controls were sometimes a bit glitchy, I wanted to improve them a bit but didn't have the time. Thanks for playing my game!
the tutorial was a really nice touch with the hand drawn character. Its obvious your passionate about marine biology which was refreshing. Game was a little clunky to control but overall pretty cool. Would you mind rating mine?
Thanks for your nice comment! I'll gladly try your game as well!
Wow, what a lovely looking game. I had fun trying to make good look pictures. Movement controls could have been a bit better by allowing to go horizontal and vertical at the same time. Nice game. I got a rare combo of over 1.000.000 points. which was really cool. Tutorial was clear. When my oxygen ran out it was already to late to realize. Perhaps warn the player when oxygen is halfway or at 25% in the middle of the screen. I did not focus so much on the bottom right corner. Also the picture that I took stays on the screen until I press the left mouse button again. I did not know I had to press left mouse button again, because I was scared it would take another picture. All in all really cool game and nice game :D
Thank you so much for your feeback! Yeah, I struggled a lot with the controls, it was the first time I experimented with a first person controller and I 100% agree it could have been improved. Yes, you have to click again for the picture to go away, I totally forgot to explain it. A lot of things could have been more clear, I agree. Thanks for trying my game, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Combining Pokémon Snap with the Game Jam's "Diving Deeper" theme is a cool concept. I like it :)
Thank you ! I enjoy making these games where you can basically chill and relax :)
