Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, I did the music and I used both personal and free assets. See the in-game credits to learn more.

I found the idea interesting and really well executed. It was fun to play and take pictures of the fishes!

Thanks!

I really enjoyed the music and the text in the start really cool idea overall!

Developer

Thanks! The music was composed by my boyfriend especially for this jam and I'm really happy with the result!

Sensetiv is a bit high, it would be nice to have that in settings, also when you hold W and than hold D its kinda going only to right not forward-rigt, but when you hold W+A its going forward-left. Overall I like the screenshot mechanics and displaying info of pictures (like Distance from camera). Very nice!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah the movements could have bben improved, but I ran out of time.

Submitted(+1)

Great game! It is an interesting take on an underwater game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to do something chill, and I love taking pictures in real life ah ah

Submitted(+1)

Yeah I did the exact opposite and made an extremely difficult boss fight game :p

Submitted(+1)

loved it :)

Developer

Thank you, that's so nice!

I haven't seen this kind of game in a long long time, and from these details around the game, you seems to really enjoy making it! I think that the tutorial could be teach along with gameplay tho, its a lot of information for the first experience! But overall this is really great game!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feeback! Yeah I agree there are a lot of things to explain and it could be a little overwhelming when you start for the first time ah ah. Thank you for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it!

Submitted(+1)

Well made! It's fun--- I really like the underwater music. The photography system is fun and its addicting. I got almost 800,000.

Developer

Thank you! Congrats for this high score!

Wow this was a pretty well made game! I loved how you managed to even add in a small tutorial in the beginning as well as some extras such as unlockable upgrades! Really scratched that itch for photography games like Pokemon Snap and such. Movement took a bit to get used especially for moving up and down, was kind of difficult when recovering air. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your nice feedback and for playing my game, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I've really enjoyed the photography game genre since I found out about a game called TOEM and somehow your game popped up on the first line of the page. This game will be my inspiration to make a photography game with my own adventure. Although there's bit weird at movement, I find enjoyable while swimming around with calm music >w<

Developer

Thank you for your nice comment and for playing my game! I didn't know TOEM but it looks great!

Really cool Game! I haven't played a game like since I used an N64. Taking cool pictures was awesome. I do think that upgrading the tank probably should have been from some achivement such as getting some amount of points, or take a picture of a particular fish, or both. To make it so, the is more of an incentive to keep the character alive.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah I totally agree, I wanted to do a whole upgrade system with the points and multiple choices, but I ran out of time. I added this at the last moment. Thank you for your feeback and for playing!

Nice job! It's a fun twist on the theme and I enjoyed taking pictures of the fish! Going from underwater to air was a bit glitchy but other than that nice work!

Developer

Thank you ! Yeah I agree the controls were sometimes a bit glitchy, I wanted to improve them a bit but didn't have the time. Thanks for playing my game!

the tutorial was a really nice touch with the hand drawn character. Its obvious your passionate about marine biology which was refreshing. Game was a little clunky to control but overall pretty cool. Would you mind rating mine?

Developer

Thanks for your nice comment! I'll gladly try your game as well!

Wow, what a lovely looking game. I had fun trying to make good look pictures. Movement controls could have been a bit better by allowing to go horizontal and vertical at the same time. Nice game. I got a rare combo of over 1.000.000 points. which was really cool. Tutorial was clear. When my oxygen ran out it was already to late to realize. Perhaps warn the player when oxygen is halfway or at 25% in the middle of the screen. I did not focus so much on the bottom right corner. Also the picture that I took stays on the screen until I press the left mouse button again. I did not know I had to press left mouse button again, because I was scared it would take another picture. All in all really cool game and nice game :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feeback! Yeah, I struggled a lot with the controls, it was the first time I experimented with a first person controller and I 100% agree it could have been improved. Yes, you have to click again for the picture to go away, I totally forgot to explain it. A lot of things could have been more clear, I agree. Thanks for trying my game, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Combining Pokémon Snap with the Game Jam's "Diving Deeper" theme is a cool concept. I like it :)

Developer

Thank you ! I enjoy making these games where you can basically chill and relax :)

Submitted(+1)

Sadly the game wouldn't load on my browser but well done on getting something completed! Most people don't finish on time. Good luck with the jam!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, it doesnt work well in some browsers like Firefox, but I know it works well with Chrome. Otherwise I also upladed the executable, but I understand it's a bit tedious :) Thanks for your nice comment!

Submitted(+1)

I like the pokémon-snap take on the theme! Origal idea, and lovely execution. Was clear from the get go what I needed to do and how the game should be played. On that note... perhaps a button / key to skip the tutorial would be nice, I accidently reloaded and I needed to go through it all again :) Cheers and thank you for making this !

Developer

Thanks for your comment ! There is indeed a button to skip the tutorial, in the options window from the main menu :)

This game is really cool i like the vibes, I loved it when i went into the water and it looked so full of life, I got a nice photo and I was really happy. Awesome work thanks for a good time!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much ! A lot could have been improved but I'm quite happy with the ambience of the game :) Thanks for trying it !

Submitted(+1)

Ofcourse its really cool good job you should be really proud of that!

Submitted(+2)

I enjoyed it! It's got a real chill vibe, both the graphics and the audio work really great together. It's kinda like Subnautica meets Pokemon Snap

Congrats!

Developer(+2)

Thank you, that's really nice ! I wanted to do something really chill and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
