I liked the gameplay and art, not many complaints!
Very very fun, art is amazing too, only complaint is that the lava starts moving so fast that even instantly breaking blocks gets you killed due to fall speed

Very fun game and I thought the art style blended really well with the environment. Interesting gameplay too. Overall, great job!
Super fun game! Really enjoyed this one. Simple premise but very well executed. The constant worry of the lava catching up to you and the obsidian veins that slow you down is a really great combination. The visual aesthetic is cute and colorful, and the music is fun and doesn't get tiresome after a few loops. But please do everyone a favor and get rid of whatever awful loud sound plays after you die! Lol I thought my ears were at risk of bleeding after I first heard it. I don't know if it's a bug where an effect plays a ton of time or what. Anyway, super solid and fun game, very well done! Just wish there was a little more use for the jetpack, considering the name of the game - but to keep with the theme I understand the limited use case for it :)

Fun, and difficult
The only thing stopping this game from being 5 stars across the board is just needing a tutorial. That being said, everything else was fantastic. From the simple yet appealing graphics, to the music, and finally the insanely well-balanced game mechanics... this is one of the best games I've played in this jam. Well done to the team!

really fun concept, its very addicitng as well :) but i feel like the game would be more fun if there were more obstacles, since like half the time you're just mining straight down. but i love how simple the pixel art/visuals are, great job on this submission!

Noice game.
Love how you need to go slower (mining red blocks) to go faster and that the lave speeds up with time! I loved the graphics and the little areas where you could freefall to beat the lava! I love the way you implemented a time limit, it's so creative! I feel like there's really nothing I can nitpick about the game. It's super simple, yet so satisfying! :D
Really nice tense mining game! I do wish the game would be able to save your stats like upgrades, score, money etc. When you restart, and also the lava can sometimes be faster than you mine, but other than that great game!
Its made as an arcade-style high score game, so its intentionally made to both make you lose progress when you restart and be relatively reliant on rng for a high score (think games like tetris, flappy bird, pacman etc)

Oh ok. I will say it definitely fits the arcade aesthetic and, again, it is a fun game!
I got a slow start before I knew what I was doing, and ended up spending several minutes in a tense race against the lava. The lava won.

Sounds like you had the exact experience intended! The lava speeds up as you get deeper, so staying next to it (to mine out as many ores before descending) is actually a really good strategy, although it might be stressful!

Simple but really well done, love your pixel art mole. Theme is superbly integrated. Nice upgrades and music to finish it off.
Hit the nail right on the head! Loved the 8bit music and sfx. Marries perfectly iwth the pixel visuals. Great job!
Fun simple game, played it quite a few times. Good graphics and audio, all round pretty good. Would be really cool if there's more upgrades, more ores, different pickaxes etc. but I'm sure you'll add these things if you decide to do an update. Very cool game.
