How does your game fit the theme?
Your goal in this game is to identify what's behind the door to learn the cipher
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost all of assets are made by me and my friend, however we used some things from free resources

Another really interesting use of the theme. I agree that it was a bit difficult to see, but the atmosphere was really nice. I liked the puzzle solving throughout and the variety of rooms in the span of the jam was really cool.
I was sitting there going ...s...u...s...h...? Sush?...Sushi? And then found the room with the food on the ground.
Just great stuff! Nice work and congrats on finishing!
If you get a chance to check out Untangled, we're still 3 ratings away from making the cut for rank. Thank you!
Man, you had great idea but you made me blind for real. Amazing premise, fantastic ideas but unfortunately you can't see anything. Playing in a basement or a dark place is required to see anything. Luckily I have played this uncut gem in the middle of the night so I could enjoy it to the fullest.
Excluding the only problem you can see (hehe) everything works fine and I enjoyed a lot the gameplay loop. Checking what lies behind each door, slowly finding answers to the cipher is amazing. Unfortunately lasers exist and unintuitive hitboxes can hit few times and are just a minor inconvience. Sadly you can't return to the once visited room and this game lost an amazing potential for the Cube reference, where more you explore more rooms appear and start to create a maze, and you are a prisoner of your own creation. Nontheless it's great, some changes to visibility and some more rooms and you have finished game!
I should've added brightness settings. Thanks for playing!
I found weapons after I found the enemies then never found them again lol.
Good job but the platformer room was difficult for me because I suck at platformers lol
Love this, the notebook was a really fun gameplay piece! I think the platforming was a bit difficult, I died twice because of it.
It was too dark for me. I like this dungeon crawling like games, but I am really bad at first person platforming. It's a fun game, but you die a lot.
This is easily my favorite concept I've seen on this gamejam. Really liked the whole idea, execution is also done quite well, though obviously a bit rough. I would love to play a more finished and polished version of this game!
As some feedback - notebook needs to be more easy to use, I've been struggling to find correct letters. In exchange, you could add mechanics that make you lose letters, or make some letters change numbers if you went into some room. Definitely more healing items required, I've been searching for sushi like crazy. Also obviously more rooms would be great, but you can only do so much in 7 days.
Really great game! Good job!
I was thinking about implementing that after you lose, you already have some of the letters from previous run. I agree that there should be more healing. Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad that you like the game!
If you will continue working on this game and will need any help developing feel free to hmu, I'd be really interested!
This game is well made and fun. Good job
Interesting concept. The creepy vibes and the theme is very well implemented. Great job!
Hi
the idea of the game is very original
the platformer part wasn't my favorite but,
well done
GG
I agree, the parkour room should be easier. When I tested it, I already knew how to get through it but when I saw people playing the game, I realized that it's too hard, however that was after the deadline so it was too late to make changes
Yes I know that. We have the same problem in our game with the Painting Room. but will be updated after the jam, I hope yours too, let me know if yes :)
Good stuff :)
The theme was spot on! I genuinely caught myself asking "whats behind this door" everytime! I like the procedural generation of the map, it makes for a fun new selection of rooms each time and the randomness of the items in the chest. Also I really enjoyed the difficulty, not too hard but definitely had me questioning a few of the words a couple of times. For improvements, potentially a few additions such as background audio, the length of killing an enemy through punching was tedious, maybe reduce hitpoints. Overall, extremely grasping game, it had me hooked, Great job!
Thanks for your feedback!
The creepy atmosphere was pretty cool. The game did feel like a maze though not sure if that was intended but i felt lost and hopeless!
I had loads of fun in this game! The concept is fresh and you executed it flawlessly. I'm very impressed! 10/10
Great game with innovative mechanics and a unique concept that's both engaging and fun. The use of theme is impressive, creating an immersive experience. A touch more guidance could make it even better. Fantastic work!
i relly enjoy the game great job
Excellent interpretation of the theme. I was able to get most of the letters but after a while I didn't get any new word so I got stuck at 18/26.
This has taken number one for me so far! I absolutely love the innovative mechanics, i feel like this could make a very fun horror game, if you added a creature chasing you or something. You should be super proud! Would love to see a full steam port or something similar!

I love love love the concept! I legit had my real notepad here help me out! However, I suck at jump puzzles so that did me in ever time! A lot of fun, well done!
yery fun game and cool gameplay
