How does your game fit the theme?
In my game, players must embark on a quest to uncover the elusive Infinity. To achieve this, they are tasked with unlocking a series of doors, each concealing intricate puzzles to solve. However, the journey is not merely intellectual; survival instincts are crucial as they navigate perilous obstacles on their path towards infinity. This thematic blend encapsulates the essence of 'What's Behind the Door,' offering an immersive experience where discovery, puzzle-solving, and survival intertwine to reveal the ultimate mystery.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I developed the entire game code from scratch, working solo on its creation. While I did utilize a small number of assets to aid in the development process, the vast majority of the game, including its mechanics, design, and implementation, was crafted solely by me. I take pride in my ability to independently bring this project to life, channeling my skills and creativity into every aspect of its development

Really enjoyed the game, I liked the variety of puzzles you encluded I think it's a great base to develop further, too! Great work! :)

Developer

I have many ideas and plans for this game. Soon, I am going to work further on it.

Good idea, based on "The Cube" concept. But really too hard. Also, I can't reload my weapons ; so I just died arriving in the room of 3 turrets.

Submitted

Cool idea, but not as polished, overall GOOD

Developer

i didn't get time to polished the game, After Game jam i will work on this game.

This game has some rough edges, but overall I enjoyed it. The concept is interesting, puzzles are diverse, though sometimes a bit confusing - pretty solid. Visuals/models are great, and sounds mostly fit as well (though the drowning death sound is really goofy)

While playing I encountered a bug where I couldn't reload and shoot even after respawning, and had to reset, but otherwise everything worked as intended!

Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll fix that reloading bug soon. Glad you enjoyed the game overall. Appreciate the feedback on visuals and puzzles. Thanks again for giving it a try!

Played the game, I liked the concept, but the execution was not very good. I think the art assets went against the game design and the rooms were too big. It was fun to see variety and I was able to play the game to the finish infinity line.

Your characters animation rigging was impressive for a Jam Game. Visually I think your character is one of best made I've seen.

Perhaps your game is a bit "unforgiving" at points :D It's really easy to die and be sent back to the start by pure accident :D

Other than that. Good job!

Nice one! simple and fun!

my recommends it's better to swipe weapons using scroll wheel.

I liked the character :p

Really enjoyable gameplay with smooth character movements and engaging puzzles. The level design and vibe of the game are commendable. A bit more variety in weapon utility could enhance the experience, but the addition of a respawn mechanic is a great touch. The game's concept is intriguing, making for a cool and enjoyable playthrough. Great work overall

Developer

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the gameplay, level design, and overall vibe of the game.  I'm glad you appreciated the respawn mechanic and found the game's concept intriguing.

This game felt pretty good to play. The character movements where pretty fine, and the puzzles were engaging! The only think I’d criticize is that I felt that there weren’t many reasons to use the different guns, so I ended up just using one for the whole game.

Developer(+1)

I forgot to limit the ammo in guns, I know you use Thompson in whole game. Thank for your review

I think there needs to be some indication of where the doors are, and also which platforms are going to drop and so on. Their all being identical makes it 100% random and it wasn't much fun to just run at random with no way to strategically move through the levels.

Developer

There is puzzle for solving that platform level.(you have to move diagonally on platforms find the door exit) If I've already indicated where the door is, the game would be too easy. This is just 40% of my planned game due to limited time; I can't deliver what I imagined. my plan was to make infinite doors and possibilities.

Thanks for playing my game.

Nice game! Reminds me of the "Cube" movies. The scene at the end was quite satisfying, nice job!
