How does your game fit the theme?
This game literally revolved around unlocking a door to see what's behind it.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
A little bit of both for assets, but most of the codes was coded by me.

Enjoyed this game, these graphics are awesome. ESC key is impossible to press in browser if you play fullscreen tho, that was a problem. The atmosphere is great. Wish the game was a little longer :)
Well made good and interesting puzzle game. Great audio too!
This game is insane! impressive that you've managed to pull all this off for the Jam. Congrats!!!
Nice game! I'm not a fan of these scary atmospheres, but I think you did a great work! The assets you used created a nice environment, and the puzzles were cool
Well done! I enjoyed hunting around the house for clues. Great puzzle design!
Cool game! I had fun exploring the cabin and figuring out the various puzzles. Really nice atmosphere and the sequence from one to the next was well designed. Overall nice job!
Thanks again for playing Untangled and congrats on finishing the jam!
oh this game looks so good! love the visuals and even from the start i got the heebie jeebies! reminiscent of the old school horror games. good job!!!
An excellent game with an interesting plot and puzzles. The atmosphere is immersive and the design and style are impressive! great job! The only problem is with the code for the lock. In my opinion there is a bug in the game. I enter the code correctly but the lock does not open :D:D
I can just imagine this game with a bit of spooky music and a couple jumpscare sound effects. (I know you were pressed for time, I feel that lol) Even without those elements though this game was great!
I went to try your game but I physically can't :'). I felt super sick just moving the aim once and the scanlines made my head hurt so bad :'). But I loved the atmosphere and horror vibe to it. Huge fan of horror. I rated the fun part based on the comments :)
It's okay. I do understand that. Thanks for trying to play the game and rated it. :) I really appreciate it.
I did get a few other comments about the scanlines too. I guess I should make it more subtle next time.
The atmosphere and graphics were amazing! Had me on my toes for the whole game.
Thank you so much. :)
The retro graphics are amazing, and you managed well to make a spooky atmosphere, good job!
Thank you. It made me really happy knowing that. :)
The graphics truly excels on this one! Great job on this!
Thanks :)
I'd take a look at your game, and it's a horror game too. It's late at night here right now. Hahaha.
I'll give it a try later in the day.
I like the game art, it rlly took me me back to the old days when I was a kid and played the old ps2 games. very funny and cool game. left a rate, hope you would do as well
Thanks for playing and the rating too. I'd rated your game too.
Eerie! I really liked the PSX vibe going on, and you really nailed the spooky atmosphere.
I found the overlay with the scan lines a little intrusive, I think it could have been done a bit more subtler.
I had a problem where I had opened the clue note for the passcode and I lost the pointer and couldn't click the exit button to go back so had to restart. I'm on Firefox and MacOS, so it might just be a me problem!
Short,
SweetSpooky, definitely very well done. I'm not a fan of the permanent green camera-like overlay covering everything but otherwise really well done! Thanks! :) By green camera-like overlay do you mean the scanlines?
I like the style and atmosphere of the game. Everything looks very juicy.
Thanks so much for playing my game.
Got an email notification just now. I'm curious but will not finish it tonight, if you know what I mean. Haha. It's all there and it feels so nostalgic. 10/10 can't imagine if you had time to "implement the horror part" T_T
Have you tried it yet? Let me know what you think about it later. :)
I was just able to finish playing. The moment I start playing, it is like an instant flashback of those childhood memories. TBH, I'm not a fan of scary games, shut my eyes opening the last door 🤣🤣 Overall is good and enjoyable, just a tiny issue like gliding, took me a few tries to get that item on the wall. Well done👏👏👏
The description said that you didn't have time to implement the horror part but the atmosphere for a horror game was definitely there! I enjoyed the atmosphere and art style and thought the note / item inspection looked especially cool!
Thank you so much. This is the first time I tried this kind of art style, and I think I'm loving it too.
The visuals in this game were SO eery - I loved the pixelated and jitteriness of it, it mixed so well with the gameplay! Overall, really enjoyed it :) thank you for makin this!!
Thank you, for playing my game. I'm so happy to know that someone actually enjoyed playing the game that I made. :)
