I loved the concept of this game! The only thing that bothered me were the invisible walls, they were too close to the power cells! One of the best games I have tried in terms of the theme!
Thanks for such positive feedback! Glad you liked the game!
I loved the graphics! The mechanics are pretty interesting and unique
Glad you liked it! It was my first time when I decided to try draw something for a game :)
This is such a clever idea! It's really cool being able to strategically place your walls before fighting off the enemies. Great work!
Thank you for good words! I liked your game too!
the creativity to come up with something like this is INSANE! loved the concept of it!
the way that there are different guns each pushing you back while shooting in their own way was such a small thing to be added to the game but made it way more immersive!
the only thing i think was a bit weak about it was the way you were indicating the zone which player can move in, those icons which i assume were there for this reason, were a bit far from each other and thus making it sometimes a bit hard to understand how far one can go...
aside from that though, it has been polished like a gem! i enjoyed it so much!
The sand storm should show borders of the arena but I had no time to implement it :)
You matched the theme perfectly!
Hey, glad to see you here! Glad you like this interpretation of the theme :)
The game idea was awesome, I loved it, controls are smooth and game is fun, different weapon types, awesome work.
Here is my game if anyone wantsto check:

Glad to see you found the time! Thank you for feedback! Glad you liked it.
Really nice game and lovely game idea. and the art and animations were amazing.
Feedback:
I think there needs to be a tutorial as you load in after have to waste time reading the text. Also the game is way too hard (or maybe im js bad haha) as they would just completely surround you maybe lower their speed.
Overall solid game!!
Yeah, that's definitely where I should bring my attention next time :) Complexity and player tutoring :) Oh yeah, and place visible borders if you have any :)
Well first of all I hadn't notice you were takeing part in the jam :D. But for the feedback I liked it, I don't think I fully understood the intricacity of the building mechanics, would be cool tho if there would be different kinds of blocks, The hard borders kinda throw me off because you can be sometimes blocked by your own blocks a soft border (one that just pushes you more the further you go into it) would be cool. The sfx and visuals were nice but I would love the basic guns to be a little more equel as sometimes it swapped me from the shotgun or smg to the penetrating one and I was kinda screwd, also the spawning of player could do with some tweeking as not once I was spawned inside of the enemy. Also I don't know if it was said already but the wave counter at the end doesn't reset between playthroughs.
Glad to see you here! Didn't notice you're part of this jam, too!
Thanks for detailed feedback!
Spend too much time trying to find some fun and discover what this game about... So yeah, wasn't very polished around the edges and not all things were made (like visible borders).
About counter didn't reset at the end - I was aware of it but you're first mentioned it. It means what you're the first one who tried to play it after game over screen :) Congratulations!
The storm looked really nice and the shooting controls were also charming and calming.
It was interesting to hear what shooting controls were calming :)
Thank you for the feedback!
Shooting mechanics feels really good and punchy. My one suggestion would be to show the boundary of the map, I kept getting into trouble when I hit it while being surrounded. Otherwise nice game and concept!
Yeah... Funny enough it should be the next thing to do in my check list. But oh well... I had a much shorter jam than it should be :)
What a great concept! I enjoyed the game loop, and spent quite a bit of time seeing how far I could get. Shooting generally felt good; there's a nice variety of weapons. You use screen shake quite well here.
Constructive feedback:
Thank you! It's very helpful when people share their detailed feedback!
the game is fun! :)
Thank you! Yours is too :)
Wow I love the concept! Build to fight!
Thank you. And thank you for bringing my attention to the Seaside Picnic.
Quite a nice shoot em up with a nice set up phase. The first time I played, I managed to place a block in a way, that my character got trapped. But I had a lot of fun in my second try!
I also like how the transition between the two phases is done visually!
Thank you for stopping by and checking the game!
There were some thought to improve blocks placement and mechanics... But time said - no :)
Transition between phases was how the game started. I didn't want to join the jam, but after making this I thought what I need to make something with it.
Thanks for making that game then and I do not mind the block placement - I had a lot of fun playing it :D It was basically just a Game Jam Game quirk which did not distract from the game after I knew it.
At first I don't understand the placing box mechanic (I fight the enemies without blocks hahaha), but I have to say that the game is really cool, powerups really give an extra depth an the idea is creative, keep going!!
Fighting enemies without blocks could be a valid tactics in some ways :)
it's a bit hard to understand why am i placing the boxes and everything, but it's a solid loop
Thanks for feedback! There are plenty of things to improve in my skillset :)
Awesome game, really like it. Now it's ur turn to try & vote us. thank u
Thank you! Check yours!
I really like this game! Well done!
Thank you! Liked yours too!
I think to improve it some clarification on the itch.io page could help as the controls given in the beginning are for movement but there's a moment where it looks like the controls don't work, it's not that clear that you should press space first to put the ship down and then start moving around as your character once you get off the ship, but once I figured that out it made sense. Other than that I really liked the graphics, atmosphere and the mechanic was clean and worked really well - nice job on the game!
Thank for feedback!
Spent some time and wrote a little bit about the game on itch.io to help future players!
Thanks!
The music is too loud and could be lower. The game fits the theme well. I also love the game feel and a little bit of camera shake when shooting. Not a lot of people can use Camera Shake very well.
Each jam entry should have a slider for adjusting volume and music :)
Glad you noticed shake screen!
