Nice chill building game!

Submitted

Very calming game and easily got sucked in to playing for a long time. It is possible to get stuck though, if you have 0 money and no villages in the castle, but that's a skill issue on my part I believe TT.

but I'll add, I very much liked it. Good job!

I really enjoyed the game. Didn't even notice 20 minutes had passed. Very chill.

Best game I played so far, fun, addicting, literally can't stop playing.

But there are few things that would be nice to ballance, start is hard, mid game is just right, and late game is too easy. Resource management is too hard in begining, would be nice to have ability to move workers, and also to trade resources you need to wait for trade card, that could take 1 to 30 days to come. Trading system like in Catan would've been nice like 4 to1.

Nevertheless this game is amazing, it's everything I wanted my game to be, but couldn't. Thank you for making it.

Thank you for playing, and the nice suggestion.

You are right, the special package will appears after 30 days. I don't want it happened too early, and breaks the resources balance.

Increase the exchange rate is a good idea, I'll try to implement it next update after jam. Thank you!

I'm glad you liked my suggestion, but not my idea to be honest, it's from board game - Settlers of Catan. if you haven't played it you definitely should try to play it with friends, looks and plays a bit like your game. Meanwhile here's the gist of it: In it you need to use resources to build houses and roads to collect more resources, you also could trade resources with other players on any agreed rate 1-1, 2-1, 1-2, 2-3 and so on. If no one is willing to trade or there is a shortage, you could trade with bank at rate of 4 same resources for any 1 other. You could also build house on predefined general port and get rate of 3-1, or build house on specialized port with rate of 2-1 (specialized ports will only except specific resource, like 2 wheats for any resource you want). There are also many expansion, like sea expansion, where you can build sea routes with ships to get to other islands.

Awesome game. Played it till game 110. Could be a  little bit harder in the end since there was no way to loose anymore.

Nice game. Loved to play it.

When I got out of money, I cant do anything more because the villagers need money and money need villagers...

Great job.

Very good work, nice replayability, indeed knowing what you can find in the packs would be useful and having a visual from where you can assign a villager/worker when you want to place one would be a good addition but good experience easy to take in hand :)

Hee-ho. Nice art, cool idea. Thanks for good experience

calimg game, cool idea havent seen much of it. loved the art style and the pack opening animations :D

Submitted

Vey cool idea and very well executed - the only thing this needs is a way to tell what you can get in each package. If you had a way to know, you would be able to make better informed decisions, and the game would reach a new level. Everything else I loved, and you should definitely keep working on it after the jam

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback.

I love the graphics on this game it all fits nicely together. I also struggled in the beginning with doing the right choices. Maybe an interactive tutorial could help with that?

This is a really impressive game to make in a week! I enjoyed the simple, clean graphics and the small touches that you added like opening card packs. Very nicely done!

I realized I couldn't progress once I ran out of gold and didn't have a way to generate more so I had to pass 5 turns in a row until the end. You could make this less punishing by adding some mechanic to gain a small amount of resources. Perhaps unused cards could be turned in for resources at the end of the day. That might avoid players getting hard locked.

Game is cool but  i accidentally bricked my run by spending my gold wrong at the start before i understood the game lol. Want to give it another shot later. Art is cool too.

Submitted

Managed to get to level 100 after a few restarts because I had nobody making gold after the first storm hit.
Wouldnt mind a few tooltips at the start but very polished game after 7 days!

10/10 would create my empire only to be destroyed by a few windy boys again

Very nice doodle artstyle, everything's clear, easy to read and intuitive, the gameplay loop is great and I didn't encounter any bugs so far. For the people that love games like this I recommend ISLANDERS and Dorfromantik.

One of my favorite submissions so far!
