This game is like Crypt of the NecroDancer meet Super Sonic - quite challenging and fast-pace. Took me a while to get used to the ducking and man the timing isn't forgiving. Once I started to get the hang of it it became very enjoyable and I realized this is more of a rhythm rush than a platformer. I really think this game has a lot of potential! Feel like the timing of the jump and the duck needs to be more forgiving so the flow isn't broken as easily. Def one of the most unique ones I've played in the submissions.

Cool auto runner about a rabbit having trouble ducking!
cool game. REALLY challenging, but fun. Even the tutorial is hard, hehe
Finishing this game once took more than I expected
I think my only problem with this game and what made me feel a bit annoyed from the mid game and that made me think it lasted more than it should was that the dead animation takes more time than it should in my opinion, at 1st it’s nice to see the soul of the rabbit going to heaven with the little melody but after some time in the game, I just want to retry as fast as I can and not wait for the animation to end… So a button that resets from the last checkpoint would be nice
And in the boss, after the last spike before the block that causes damage, it would be nice if the time from that spike and the damage opportunity would be less. Not fan of doing the same pattern 3 times because it feels long and if you make a jump early or you crouch late, it feels a bit painful for the repetition of the pattern :(
Outside of those 2 parts, the game feels ok-good, some hard jumps are ok or aren’t annoying, maybe there is a checkpoint a bit buggy in the storm part when the camera changes to a lower floor, but it isn't that bad once you finish the game. Maybe the fungus part is funny at the start and a good change of pace but maybe feels a bit strange for the filter if you die a lot
Also, when I saw those changing blocks that remind me of Mario Maker, I thought it would be a troll part somewhere in the game, and yes, a classic troll of not changing the blocks or you die haha
Well, that’s the gameplay, about the audio, I really liked it! The idea of your movements complement the song it’s fun and creative, also both songs are good and really fit the theme :)
Visually it’s a pretty game, I really liked the rabbit and the “enemies” of the game. The storm part feels great and the spikes of the boss are good since you can see them easily for the contrast it has
Great to see another rhythm platformer, with some minor changes this game can shine more, I don’t know if I’ll play the hard mode and from the screenshots of the game there is an insane mode but I think that’s all I have to say
Really like the game as a whole but for now I won’t touch it for the stuff I said above because my patience ran out hahaha. I put my screenshot of victory because I feel good about it :D
The visuals and audio are pretty good but I'd say the difficulty is a bit hard (at least for me). What I'd suggest is to increase the jump height and decrease the speed just a little.
Such a fun rhythm runner! The art and music is amazing. I do wish the death animation was a little shorter, but it's great game! Good Job!
A really neat game. The visuals are really refreshing, and the overall game feels very cohesive. The difficulty was a little bit hard to me (but not impossible), I would suggest tweaking the jump, the speed, the collisions a little bit in the player's favor (without changing it completely, because it feels almost balanced). But of course difficulty depends on each and everyone's skill so no problem here I might just suck haha. Good game!
Love it! The super mario world block switching idea is a great addition, and I like the fast-paced gameplay and lots of checkpoints (for bad gamers like myself). I was a bit confused at first with the tutorial when it said A to jump which I imagine is for controllers. The music switchup in the second part was great as well. Nice work
so fun and quickly addicting!! Definitely caught me off guard with how fast it is right from the start, even in the tutorial haha. But gameplay feels smooth and cohesive!
Amazing platformer runner. Game design is just insane, it really shows the love and effort you put in. The way you show new mechanics along the game is brilliant. Music is also nice implemented, liked how its matching the game play in certain parts.
I've dead like 70 times in the mushrooms part, literally, so I'm now hating you a little bit. But I loved it.
Great job guys! <3
Ok this is not the longest I have played a game straight in this Jam. I went back to finish it. Took like 2 hours because I am bad at these types of games. Finally beat it to discover a hard mode. I might go back later to beat that one too. Great game!!! critically under rated! (like the amount, I am sure people are rating this well.)
Wow, didn't expect this..... starting the game I really like how it looked, it even looked sort of like some infinite runner ideas I might try to make, and really liked especially the checkpoints in between and the overall look, feel, and controls. Then the difficulty got really high really fast. I liked that there were many checkpoints and I thought this worked really well, but it was still really hard to play it. I was able to beat it, including the final boss, but it took me a while. I saw there's even a code to enter for a hard mode which shows up in a menu,. but I think I might call it good at just finishing the game.
As for theme relevance, since I believe some people consider this kind of a game in the genre called the "rage game", I wasn't sure at first if it's even relevant at all. But thinking about it more, I could sort of see how it might be relevant to the theme, so maybe I'll give it to you for this one.
I think the visuals, music and atmosphere are really strong and well done on this one. The checkpoints feature works well and everything in gneral looks very well done and well tested and I don't think there's any real bugs. There's one checkpoint at the bottom of something that sort of lag spikes the game, but it's still possible to continue. (I was playing the web version).
The only thing is I believe there's not a lot of people who might be able to get very far at all, let alone to consider being able to complete the game. I think it might require too high of a skill level, which might discourage a large amount of players from trying the game for very long, and it also means I am very surprised that I was able to complete this game.
However, I think it's a one-of-a-kind experience for anyone that gives it a chance - that is, if they even can give it a chance.
Really nice job on this unique game!
This is SO great! Feels really well made and polished and the art style is awesome! Its way too hard for me lol but I'm not good at any games that require speed.
The basic gamefeel is very good, very responsive! It's unreasonably fast though. I had fun, but would have had more fun if the speed was a little bit slower. There were some checkpoints where you die in less than a second, and since the load times vary a bit, it made it hard to make those first jumps from the checkpoints.
I'd also make the camera follow the player with a little bit of delay so the visuals don't jump that much when going very high or low. Of course, with current tempo, it would prevent the player from seeing a lot of the traps.
There were plenty of great, creative level design choices, and the way the game suddenly turned into VVVVVV was awesome. The music was banging, it was a nice touch to restart it from where it was, not from the very beginning.
Great hardcore game :D . It's really hard and very addictive.
