How does your game fit the theme?
You get to peacefully mine ore. That is until the invasions begins.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and images were made by Pixelfizz (our company). The audio was not original but most of it edited to fit better.

Very fun game that makes very good use of the theme. The game was well balanced and allowed me to escape just in time before I was overwhelmed.
Great game! I love the audio, the graphics, and its probably the most polished game i have played yet:)
Good game. Audio was really good and fit the game well.
Good game. Audio was really good and fit the game well.
Loving the gameplay loop of the game, such a simple idea executed brilliantly! Wished there was some music but that's alright! Had lots of fun, though I did find the difficulty of the game shot up really high on the third stage, but maybe its just a skill issue ahah. Congrats on the game and good luck!
I think mining with the laserwhile coming back to base to shoot the enemies when they come was pretty cool. The different upgrades that affected the laser or the turret were interesting and I thought you did a great job on this game, it was pretty fun!
The only real complaint I have is about knowing when enemies invade. There were 3 bars on my screen and none of them communicated when I was safe to mine until. I felt very pigeon-holed into only mining the closest rocks to my ship because invasion could happen at any time.
Otherwise the balancing was phenomenal. I found myself escaping round after round by the skin of my teeth. Every weapon upgrade felt meaningful and impactful and I love the game being set in space, it's such a unique setting for a roguelike.
What a bangin submission. I hate roguelikes and I'm still left wanting more from Asteroid Jumper
Plays silky smooth with a quite a difficulty curve!
very interesting game, I love that dome keeper vibe !
thanks.. wish I had more time to build on it.
Took some time to figure out the docking part, overall fun game. Could use a soundtrack tho, you can't feel the tension without music. And the art is pretty nice along with the sound effects
Thanks.. I agree tho but music isn't my strong suit.
dont work on my pc
Fun little mining simulator, the pixel art is well done however some consistency between the pixel sizes would be amazing!
10/10 would mine squishy wet sounding rocks again
Thanks LOL try listening to it over and over again while testing :p
The best part of any bug testing, youl have nightmares with those sounds for weeks!
All around a solid game, had fun!
Things I would change:
Thanks.. I had planned for the ship to shoot, but I didn't get far enough to add all the upgrades I wanted. If you last long enough they start to spawn in multiple areas. Could have been bad RNG.
good game and nice art work. I enjoyed the gameplay!
Figured out the undocking part, it's a really good game!
A really cool space game, i enjoyed the time of mining, and fighting also felt pretty good. The graphics were awesome and very well made.
8/.5/10 :>
Tried this in browser, the game resolution is too big on my Mac and the whole game can't fit so I didn't get a full experience. I've book marked to play again later on my PC.
That being said even though I didn't play this optimally, I experienced a full gameplay loop and it was enough for me to rate this one VERY highly
1) the art is great. Everything reads as to what it should be, the ship, asteroids and enemies all pop out nicely . The starry space looks good too.
2) the movement is great, I was a bit confused at first and had to go back to the tutorial page a few times to see I had to undock my ship with Space, I missed it the first time. It would be nice to have a prompt in game telling you to undock
3)The mining is VERY satisfying, the rock sound is nice and chunky and its awesome doing the mining, reminds me of my days playing Eve Online as a miner
4) the gameplay juxtaposition of mining and being mobile, to needing to retreat and be a gun turret is a lot of fun, it conveys the theme of the jam well and provides a nice uniqueness to the gameplay loop
5) the multiple enemy types is cool and the red indicators as to where they are coming from is a nice touch, although they do arrive a little too slowly and I'd like to see the speed of the oncoming enemies increased. That being said its also satisfying shooting them when theyre offscreen!
6) all the sounds are good and convey their meaning well and add to the ambience, however the mixing is really off, some are too load and some are too quiet. For example the rocking mining sound is a great chunky sound, however its much too loud
Great game cant wait to play again on my PC, hope I get the full experience on there will my bigger resolution
Thanks a ton for the detailed response. I'm thinking about really building this out and polishing all the things you mentioned. I spent so much time on developing that it was hard to play it a bunch and really get a feel for the difficulty since balancing it was tricky.
I like the graphics and how smooth moving your mouse feels, a good game
Maybe you can but I actually wanted to drive the ship over the space. Overall a nice game. Nice work, Good Luck!
Promising game concept, I was really on the edge of my seat tryna min-max my ore gathering xD
