Cool game! I liked the transition from platformer to top-down. Overall, it's pretty great—no bugs and an interesting story.

I think that there is too much text at the start, I understand it is for story telling, but it is a bit long. Also jumping is a bit wierd somewhat unnatural. Asides from that it is a cool game!!

Overall pretty cool.  No bugs and interesting story.  Was a bit confused about the escort quest segment (kept going too fast and leaving her behind) but quickly figured it out.

interesting!

Interesting game with a cool story!! The boss it's quite fun (that teleport phase is sick), maybe a bit repetitive sometimes but it's ok for one week of development. Nice work!!

Feedback:

In my opinion the game starts a bit slow (for being a Game Jam game) and all that reading part it's a bit boring. I don't say you should change anything about the story, but maybe summarizing a bit the texts would make the start more dynamic (also adding sounds for the voices, cutscenes...)

Great job anyways!

I think overall it was a decent game. well more like a visual novel with some shooting elements.
some critics: game is not cohesive in terms of pixel ratio and most elements weren't pixel perfect which reduced the enjoyment of graphics. but like I said overall, I think it's a decent game and a cute story.

Very cute game, with beautiful art and sound design. I liked how the game changed perspectives, from a platformer to a topdown game, both gameplay and art-wise! Props to the use of light when shooting with the main player :) Great game guys!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Thought it might be nice to show some visual feedback when you're shooting, hence the lighting effect on the sprite :)

Couldn't really tell what kept killing me during the second stage of the artificer. Good story and controls though, I like the way it goes from side scroller to top down. Great Job!

Developer(+1)

We probably could've explained that one a little better. What was happening was you finally got your sister (Gold hair person who follows you around) and the ghost(s) of the artificer are trying to steal her from you. When she gets grabbed by one of those grey triangle guys, it's game over.

I liked the perspective change and the artificer design was pretty cool. Good job!

Feedback:
- I found it frustrating to die as there was no feedback to how I died so I didn't know what was going wrong. I didn't finish the game because of it.
- Apart from that its a quite solid experience! If there was more feedback / a few lesser bugs (i think?) which caused death I would definitely play all the way through.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! You’re right, having something to explain the death event would be super useful. We’ll definitely look into that in possible future updates.

It took me a while to realize Bonnie (I think?) was the one dying in the third chapter. If there was some feedback that she was the one who died, I would have figured it out a lot sooner.

Otherwise, loved the art and the vibe. At the end of the first chapter/act it felt so eerie like it was a horror game! I definitely loved the mood you accomplished and the top down and side views.

Cool game!

Developer(+2)

Bonnie was actually the MC who stays alive with the sister in the end after they escape the forest. That was my bad though, I should’ve made that more clear in the notes. In the future I’ll probably add more hints at it being you.

Thanks so much for playing!

Pretty good game!

Really good game, I liked the graphics and how it switched from platformer to top down shooter but I do think there was too much text compared to gameplay overall very good :)

I really like the unique atmosphere!
Art and sound create a mysterious atmosphere
It's fun to use both the side view and the top-down view
I'm looking forward to the future!

Thanks so much!! ^ ^
