Ranked from 93 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
After a certain number of moves, enemies storm the level and the player must find their way towards an exit.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We used: PhantomCamera addon by Marcus Skov (MIT License) and TileBitTools by dandeliondino
Also, the coins present in the jam release are from the Brackeys' Godot platformer tutorial video, the asset is from the Four Seasons Platformer Sprites pack.

The rest of the code and assets were all done from scratch throughout the seven days of the jam. No AI tools were used in the process.

Very reminiscent of Mystery Dungeon, which I am a big fan of.  Likewise, I was also a big fan of the art style. I thought the multiple paths was interesting although it did make it rather easy to skip fighting entirely. The weapon variety was interesting although it seemed like the bow was far better than the other two. I wish I could hold a direction to move as the player or there was less time between key presses as the player does move rather slowly.

Thanks for sharing with my stream! Here's the VOD of your game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2252858600?t=01h50m37s

Loved the audio and the graphics, but the game was too slow for me. Love this kind of games, liked the weapon variety and the enemies design!

Very cool! I loved the audio and the graphics!

A different perspective on a turn-based game was quite interesting and fun. Also, the art style is great.

Audio and graphics are really really nice! I enjoyed the game and finished it. Great job everyone involved!

Feedback:
- I found that if you just streamline it to the staircase, more often than not you don't have to fight any enemies. I intentionally avoided doing this but it definitely break the game. Adding some collectables or other objectives (like the coins but I don't think they did anything and I only got them in the last level.) could help for sure!
- Movement was a bit slowish / boring. Especially as if you get stuck between enemies or sometimes just one you definitely die and have to restart. A bit of speed or pre-planning multiple moves at the same time could help.

You're absolutely right, I built the whole nine levels in a rush, literally during the last 4 hours of development, I will be remaking them very soon with a proper difficulty curve. I'll admit it, I placed the coins as a last minute effort to bait players so the GM would get angry sooner and also as a reference to the Brackeys' platformer tutorial, I'll probably get rid of them.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

The movement was a bit slow but overall the game was great! good job!

Really cool concept!

Great game! I love it!

I loved this game, im a huge fan of Dungeon Crawlers (if you can even call it that) and even tho movement was a bit clunky the overall game felt good. The Graphics are awesome and so is UI. I always like a good grid-based movement system.

overall 8.5/10 :>

The game is amazing, and the mechanics are great.

Submitted(+2)

Nice!  I really like the concept of picking up various different weapons as you move around.  As others have mentioned, movement does feel a bit clunky, but not enough to take much away from the game.

Submitted(+3)

Cool game! The only thing is I wonder if there's a way to make the controls feel a little faster or more responsive but still keep the  integrity of the grid movement somehow, bu I guesst it might be challenging to do that. I realy liked the way the enemies would die based on moving in the same direction and the effects different weapons had on how you fought the enemies. Overall really nice job on this game!

Thank you for the feedback! We are taking into account the feedback and we are thinking of doing something with the game after the voting period finishes :D It was quite challenging to make this game on the fly, we had the movement faster but the game started glitching a lot and became practically unplayable, so we reduced the movement speeds (maybe a bit too much).

Love the classic roguelike movement, and the music was banger

Developer

Thanks for playing

The game is amazing, and mechanics are great, it reminds me like a chess game, the only thing I will suggest is to let the player just maintain pressed the key to move in long hallways instead of pressing multiple times, but after all it is an unique concept.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! We'll definitely take into account, it definitely feels a bit clunky after a while.

Submitted(+2)

Felt very classic Rogue, I like grid/turn base systems like this. Great job!

Submitted(+2)

Cool idea, love the art style, but I think the feel of the game leaves something to be desired. Especially attack animations would really help in my opinion. Other than that, pretty cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! :) We are looking into improving the feel after the voting period ceases, we had a blast making it.

Submitted(+2)

I liked the visuals and the designing as well, also if the controls to attack could be a little clear, overall loved your work.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much :) We took the feedback and updated the page with some instructions

Submitted(+2)

I liked the turnbased styled movement, also the visuals were very nice. Well done!

Submitted(+3)

Good design concept. I hope there can be more instructions on how to attack.

Developer

Thank you! We updated the instructions so that it's a bit more clear :D
