How does your game fit the theme?
The graphics should calm the player at the beginning , but then it turns into a chase game

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code made by me and a few free assets that are indeed taken from the Unity Asset Store(20% of the game are free assets)

Quite enjoyed the game, amazing graphics and assets used, amazed on the detail you got in such a short time, I still have a lot to learn.

Really liked the buildup of atmosphere from the daytime outdoor area to the dark area. I first thought I got stuck in the room but was able to figure out how to get out. I was curious if you could die or it would just do nothing. Looks like I died and this part worked correctly!

The game over screen was funny, but then what was not so funny is I would have to start from the beginning, wonder if it should respawn you at the beginning of the dark area if you made it in there and then died.

I might still consider to try the game again sometime, it seemed really fun - nice job on it!

This game have very good graphic, well done. I could not find a place for all the controls which limited my experience in the game. But it seemed to be a very well done game.

Developer

where exactly did you get stuck?

This was a cool and atmospheric game. The deadly ghost got me T_T but I enjoyed playing. And seeing something this good looking made in just a week is very impressive.

A good game by far. One of the good things that can be done in limited time. Congratulations.

WOW, this is the best graphic I have found in this game jam so far, everything about this game is so beautiful, from the audio, to the atmosphere, the fact that you made this in 1 week is crazy, just wow from me, hope you would win this game jam

Ok, just now I found out that ALL THIS TIME, I had the Eye Saver mod on. So basically, the hole game was supposed to be a touch more orange(dusk) at the beginning

Super cool-looking game, despite it being mostly assets. Great job on the atmosphere!

ooh please can you make a Mac or webGL version of this (when the jam/rating ends), i can not play it on my Mac, screenshots look sooo nice!

Developer

The game was made on Unity, and when you export it, it automatically makes it compatible with Windows, Max and Linux(same build). So you shouldn't have any problems :). Though, please tell me how will the game run(fps performance).

i’m sorry but there is only a windows build (.exe) in the downloaded folder, i have made all of my games in Unity and never heard of a ‘one-build-for-all-platforms’… it is true that you can build for all those platforms with Unity, but you'll need to create separate builds for each of them… still hoping for that Mac build :)

Developer

Hey man, I saw your review on another horror game. You rated based on someone else's playthrough and I was wondering if you can also do this for my game :). I really want to get at least top 50 for the graphics (graphics category) but I still need ratings. I'd really appreciate that :) (original vod link in the montage's description )

ooh awesome that your game got streamed, it looks really nice! I actually already gave a rating based on the beautiful screenshots and other people’s comments, and i can not give more than 5 stars which is what i did :)

Developer

It's absolutely amazing that you managed to do such a game in one week. The graphics are amazing, the desing of the environement is beautiful, great SFX too. I dont know how it doesnt have more ratings. I really enjoyed it, great job man!

"This was the most visually stunning game in the entire jam (at least from what I’ve seen). Just wow. And the sounds, especially with the audio reverb zones, were perfect. What I didn’t like as much was the UI. The game looked incredible until the green text appeared on the screen saying 'E to open.' It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t really fit with the game’s visuals. Maybe the font could be changed or there could be a world space UI on the door with the 'E' (just some ideas). This is just my opinion, some people might think the UI was great. Lastly, having to repeat everything when you died was a bit of a downside. I fell into the hole in the central area, and going back there wasn’t that fun, although the death screen with the sound was pretty funny. Great game, definitely one of the best so far!

Developer

yeah, I also agree with the green color not fitting the visuals but it should have played a role as a tip for the first puzzle. And for the , going back to the beginning after death, yeah I just didn't have the time to make checkpoints, but still. Thanks for the review :)
