I commented on the game page already, but I just want to say that this is such a phenomenal game. It's very simple and it's pretty easy not to lose, but I just feel that the idea is executed so well. Great job :)

Very fun and relaxing. I never got really far after several attempts, but contrary to most other entries, this one is pretty cozy and the visuals are neat

Cool builder. Simple, but immersive gameplay. The music makes you feel lost in time. I think it would be better with a positive goal—a win condition of sorts.

Really great for a game made in a week, you would to see more buildings. Can't get past 50 years but overall feel good to play !

Gameplay feels quicck and snappy, I like the art style for the game, interesting simulation concept, nice effects for the text and buildings transitoins. Played it a couple of times and I like the quick feedback. I managed to get to 35years before dying of economics. Fun and interesting game, great work!

it needs more bigger or eyecatching pop up when the bad event came

Great take on the theme and well executed, this is a good idea and quite easy to extend!

Positive:

• Very cool BGM and SFX
• Crispy pixel art
• Gameloop is short, easy to understand and feels great

Negative:

• the UI triggered me, sometimes effects are quite hard to read because of formatting (see below)

Miscs: I think by adding a grid system you could introduce adjacent building mechanics that you would allow you to add more depth to the game.

Surprising amount of depth for a jam game! Really enjoyed the concept & gameplay.

I really enjoy this one ! The concept is really cool and there is a lot of feature that can be added to this game !

Whereas, there is still improvement to make on the game feel. You should for a later update or another game try to add sound and vfx depending on the player status, but this can be a huge topic to know when and how to polish your game.

I am happy for 35 years! Then the great depression came or something lol.

I have officialy reign for 21 years! but then they all unhappy from random event lol. Love the choice of this game, could be improved mechanically maybe add tower defence so putting something in the city have purpose. The rest is this is a good start and prototype. Keep it up! :D
