In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to rewind to an unstable and slightly corrupted build of the game.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is written by me from scratch. (excluding A* pathfinding https://arongranberg.com/astar/front)
All the art was made by me from scratch. (excluding the screenshots)

Wow, i really love the idea! Very original. I like everything! Maybe adding a lower difficulty level would be ideal. Congratulations and good job!
I really like how you interpretated the theme. Good job! Checkpoints would be a great adition!
*maybe you would also like to try and maybe rate my submission*
an unexpected take on the theme. Great execution, though adding checkpoints to the game would've been a nice addition
Loved the game idea, a really quirk take on the theme. The joke about the boss breaking the build and you having to restore it bit by bit using Brackeys tutorials is amazing, also the option of collecting the stuff you want to add to the game is really cool and adds to the replayability. My only complaints are about the player and green enemies movement. The player jumps felt too float, wich made platforming difficult at some times. On other hand, the green enemies were kinda difficult to deal with cause they could become stuck on your face if they were slightly above the gun on the front, or become difficult to hit when coming from behind. Aside from that, I think that's a really clever submission, liked to play it a lot :D.
Wow, i loved the idea of getting new abilities by getting tutorials, is a really nice idea!
The game can get a bit frustrating at times, but nice game!
It's an interesting idea, but it doesn't live up to the potential. The lack of checkpoints makes it frustrating to die and in turn makes it not very fun to keep trying. The character does not feel fun to control because you keep your momentum in the air, leading to imprecise jumps and lots of avoidable falls. Having the videos as upgrades is definitely a great idea though. I really wish there was more detail in the background, possibly a corrupted environment that would've been the built game? I hope you work on this post jam, it could use some polishing, and it has the potential to be a very fun game.
This is one of the best ideas in this whole game jam. At first, I was really excited and wanted to see what's coming next. But after dying 20 times due to wonky player controls, I got frustrated and gave up. I would've loved to see more of the game. Great idea though, I hope you fix it so I can explore the whole game.
Really loved the game idea! I miss the Brackeys tutorial on character controller 2D, but I guess the restore did the job... :D
You put a big smile on my face. Well done. Love the tongue in cheek concept and how things gradually get restored as you collect videos. Nice touch.
