In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to rewind to an unstable and slightly corrupted build of the game.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is written by me from scratch. (excluding A* pathfinding https://arongranberg.com/astar/front)
All the art was made by me from scratch. (excluding the screenshots)

This game is great! I love it when you die and you see the text mesh pro tutorial.

Probably the most unique take on the  theme! Kudos to you! I think you should be very proud of your submission.

could you please play and rate my game as well?

Loved the idea, really nice game!

Amazing idea! I love how the game slowly adds the features a normal game should have! I also like how the paths can split, and you can choose which feature to go for. My only complaint is that the player movement can feel a bit weird at times. I would let go of the horizontal keys, but the character kept moving. Also, maybe a slightly slower wall that comes from behind you.

Anyway, really great work! One of my favorite entries I've found!

I loved it! Maybe a checkpoint in the platforming section would have been nice, but still felt amazed by this game, really really cool!

Definitely gonna check out some of those videos now hahahaha. Good job! I would highly appreciate if you could try out my game and leave a rating, thanks :D

Very funny and creative! I would have more incentive to finish the game if there were checkpoints. I'm sure the man himself would get a kick out of this game

This was amazing and I love the meta of it, great job with the whole thing! I think the scary wall coming up from behind is the only thing that could be fixed a little i had no clue what it was.

Very unique. I am sure Brackeys will love this. It's amazing to see how much each feature can improve a game. I hate that I need to completely restart every time I die.

The idea is very interesting. However, I think that the controls need to be improved. Also, some checkpoints would have been nice. Other than that, the gameplay is pretty good. Great job.

Fun idea! So meta, but that makes it all the better.

Wow, definitely a fun and original idea. It may not have the best graphic or music (at least you tried), but it  more than makes up for it with with the perfect execution of the premise. Also, I'm a fan of how you justified the "cyclic" nature of the game and the added option to skip the level, really smart.

The only thing I'd adjust is the jump, it's really floaty and it feels a bit hard to control, which makes the whole level harder than it needs to be.

WOW..! This idea is unique! It could be done better with better graphics and animation, but the idea and the design really are fascinating!

I liked the idea, I think it was interesting! Few ideas to make it even better: checkpoints (maybe could be part of an easy mode?) & arcade jump physics (while in the air, my character still moves due to momentum even if I am not pushing any arrow key. I think players will have better control if it was not the case.). Overall, good job!

Couple of notes in no particular order:

- Amazing idea! A lot of fun and some great tips for people new to game dev :) Very meta!
- It was a bit hard to understand what was happening at the start in the platformer level... I thought the character was moving left automatically until I realized it was a wall coming from the left.
- Like others said: Checkpoints! The game is too hard for me to replay it from the beginning. I tried maybe 15 times, but I always screwed up some jump or those nasty eyes.

I'd love to see a more polished and/or easier version of this after the jam!

Great idea :D  First, I thought why does this game has no audio or animations at all.  Then I understood what's going on.  But I wish if there was a checkpoint or something.  Not sure if there is a video about it that will allow me to take checkpoints but anyways, you did a great job!

The idea of this game was really cool, but it would have been a lot better if there were checkpoints.
