In what way does your game fit the theme?
I have two features that include REWIND. One is the reversal of enemies of like colors and the second is actually turning time in REWIND for up to 5 seconds to help avoid enemies. (Some enemies are not effected on purpose)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and assets are my own. I have uploaded 3 Audio files that I did not create myself

Simple, entertaining and challenging, great game!
Thank you so much Josant!
I am glad you enjoyed my game!
Fun and pretty tough :)
I would say the colors seem to change a bit sporadically leading to some frustrating changes as I line up a same color haha :) Also those two shades of purple are hard to distinguish for my old eyes ;)
Other than that super fun and challenging little game :)
Thanks for playing and for the review PicusB! I have that on my backlog to fix the violet / purple colors as they are too close. As for the sporadic-ness (Coined a new word here), that was intentional to make the game a bit non monotonous. In the end it will always be random, so sometimes it changes slower and sometimes the colors repeat. No two game plays will be the same.
I plan on completing all the mini games and achievements and hope that will also add to and bring replayability to the game.
Thanks again for playing....and I loved your game too btw.
I think it's more the fact that I was looking for a queue that it was going to change colors but didn't see any (I might have missed it :)) so I'd hit a color I thought I was as it changed lol :)
Sounds awesome, keep at it! And thank you as well :)
It was a really fun game to play and the music really fit it. Because of the high score, I played it mutiple times to see if I could pass the best score, but I found the controls to be too sensible. I felt the character moved too much at the start, before I got accustomed to it. Other than that, great game!
Thanks so much nyxinabox!
I am glad that I created a game that made you want to come back and beat your own score! I plan on making a setting for the control sensitivity and will up date that after the Jam ends.
Thanks again for your input and the time and effort to play and rate my game!
Its a simple, effective idea thats overall really fun to play ! I think the difficulty curve progressed itself fairly well an there was a decent amount of polish too. Nicely done!
Thank you very much chichu for taking the time to play and rate my game!
I appreciate the comments and am glad that you enjoyed it and found it fun!
The audio effects are cool, but without a tutorial I was confused as to how to play the game. The changing of colors is actually nice, cool game
Thanks so much GrassthatchedGame!
I reeeeealy can't wait to fix that as it seems to be the number one issue. I just didn't have the time to complete my in game tutorial. Controls are pretty simple, but the way I want to do the tutorial is quite extensive.
Glad you liked the game though.
Thanks again!
It's a nice game, but it was a bit annoying that a big part of the screen wasn't visible. Also, it would've been nice to have an in-game explanation or tutorial, but overall it's pretty good!
Thanks shlomito!
Things I will definitely fix. I didn't have time to complete the tutorial and the resolution was a build setting. First thing I will fix when the jam is over.
The visual and audio work well together to create a nice experience. The style of the game is very consistent and well conveyed.
Somethings were a little confusing to me at first though. Like for one, should I be trying to hit squares that are the same color as me? This does not seem to be conveyed clearly to me. A small tutorial or introduction would be nice to tell users what they are supposed to do. Also, this isn't what I typically think of when I hear "survival game," so this was certainly not what I expected when I downloaded it. Not a big deal, but it may mislead other people in the future also.
Another problem I encountered (and this may just be my computer) is that the bottom is cut off so there seems to be things that I can't access.
Overall that game-play is pretty fun although simplistic is pretty fun and addicting. The main problems I had with it was just communication. Well done.
Thanks fiabot for playing and rating my game!
The tutorial is in the works. As i have told others, I just didn't have time to complete it. Resolution was set in the build settings and that will be the first thing I fix.
Glad you found the game "pretty fun and addicting". That makes me proud of what I have created so far. Just need to work on the issues that you and the others have commented on.
Thanks again!
Nice game! Agreed with other comments about more control over the player. But it's nice anyway. Made 2964 point!
Good Job! Congratulations!
That is a respectable score! Thanks a bunch for playing and rating my game LordDiego!
This is a really nice and simple game that's a very solid base for a mobile game. You could tinker with the player's movement a little bit just to allow for more control but on the hole I had a fun time playing this one. I hope you keep working on this after the jam! There's definitely a lot of potential for different enemy types that move in different ways. You may want to consider adding symbols or patterns as well as colours to differentiate the different enemy types just to make it easier for some people to tell the difference. Anyway nice submission! I hope this feedback is helpful
Thanks Maroon Seal! Your feedback was indeed helpful!
I like your idea of symbols or patterns. Will have to think the best way to implement that.
I do plan on continuing this after the jam. I want to go through the whole process of trying to publish this on mobile for sure and maybe PC? This does have that mobile feel and I think that is how I envisioned it from the beginning.
I will work on a settings for the controls (speed, slipperiness) after the Jam!
PS- I will rate your game when I get some free time to play it later on today!
Thanks again!
This game is pretty addicting, perfect for a mobile game! However I think the purple and magenta "enemies" are too similar.
Thanks for playing my game! For sure, I will change that. It bothered me as well that sometimes I couldn't tell the difference.
Thanks again!
Very neat! I was just thinking that it would be an amazing mobile game, and going to your actual game page I can see that that is already your plan. Nice thinking.
For the desktop version: the fixed resolution kind of messed up my view. But for a mobile game it'd be OK. Also, I kind of dislike the acceleration of the main character: I think it leads to more mistakes. But for a mobile game that's totally OK!
I like how you have long-term goals to work towards. But I would kind of prefer if you told players how to unlock each of the skins, as it's not too clear. If I feel that a new character is an attainable goal, I'll play more of the game!
Overall, nice job. The visuals and audio are a nice fit to the gameplay, and I like the basic gameplay. Good job! Good luck with the mobile release!
Thanks so much JMS!
I appreciate taking the time to play and give an indepth review. I will add a setting for the controls so that could be modified. If it weren't for the time constraints I would have added and explained better the achievements and character unlocks. I did the art etc, but not the logic in the game, so I just left the place holders. When this project gets further along, I will reach back for your opinion. Hopefully you will still like it! ;-)
Thanks again!
It is a fun game. Always keeps the player thinking what to do next.
I would make the player movement a little slower, as it was a little hard to control the player very precisely
Thank you That Indie Dude!
A settings option in the future will fix that for you! ;-)
Thanks again for the time to play and rate my game!
Congrats on finishing the jam, hope you had a great time.
A couple of things to improve. When I played on my computer, since the resolution was fixed to portrait the lower part of the game was cut, I guess my monitor is smaller than the intended resolution but make sure you can scale it and looks good on any device.
I feel like the characte movement is a bit fast at the end and it takes a while to gain momentum making it a bit difficult to control. I ended up crashing with stuff in the corners just because of that.
I didnt understand what to do the first couple of times I played the game so adding a tutorial or a simple how to play screen at the begining would deffinetly help.
Music is great and the artstyle is simple, colorful but works really well.
Kind regards.
Rem
Thanks Rem!
I did have a blast on this Jam. It is my second time and I think I am learning so much about Jams and the community that is priceless. Thanks for the input and time put into playing my game. All of your suggestions will be attended to.
The controls will become an option in the settings menu and the tutorial will happen as well. I just didn't have the time during the jam to complete it. I created a whole other scene for it, but didn't complete it in time. Will be added later though.
The screen resolution thing is that way because of how I clamped the boundaries. I tried resizing the window and then the enemies would not spawn outside those boundaries. Pretty easy fix, but because I realized this too late, I just didn't have the time with the Jam time constraints.
Glad you did enjoy my game though. I really do appreciate that.
See you around!
Cool game man, the music was great. Maybe adding in a tutorial would be beneficial, but otherwise nice take on the theme. Good job!
Thanks Tirion Games! I totally plan on adding that tutorial!
Cool game, loved the music, good job!
Thank you EvilFactory!
I am happy you liked my game!
I liked the music and the idea of rewinding the direction of the square based on the color. The color cooldown seemed too short and I would have liked to have the cooldown indicator closer to the player object. That way, I would be able to react to the color changes more quickly. Nice overall completeness of this game, with high score and customizations. Nice work! Please also rate my game. Thank you!
Thanks Matt!
I appreciate you taking the time to play and rate my game. Thanks for the suggestions as well and I have also played and rated your game already!
Cheers!
Game is good and fun.Good job!

Thank you. I already did. Good Job!
Really fun game and I liked how the overall game was put together.
Thanks MrMcAuliffe! I appreciate the input. I liked your game as well!
Takes a moment to get the hang of. The color change did come at illtimed moments some times :D
Thanks MADiFold Studio! Hope you had fun playing it. Thanks for the time and effort.
Really fun game, I liked the music started rewinding when I pressed the rewind button really cool. The control feel a bit slippery for me. Other than the control, everything was really great. Cool game design and every music fitted well in every scene. I enjoyed played the game :D
Thanks Djorro for playing my game and for the review as well!
I am glad that you enjoyed it!
I see I haven't played yours yet. I will try to get to that today and rate it as well!
