+Graphics are awesome, really gorgeous
+Gameplay feels nice, smooth
+Theme fits really well, I loved the idea
-Animations needs to be polished
-Short
Overall, I loved playing because it's a short story about history, time and past but it's also really sad because it's short. I am going to give a good rating(specially on visuals) but I would love to play a game like this with achievements and a really emotional story on my PS4, think about this(play more games like firewatch, ether one, everybody gone to the rapture, what remains of edith finch). If you make something out of this idea, please consider putting on steam!
Now, if you want, think about checking my game! Leave it a rating and a comment with your review!
Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate it! The shortness is simply due to the timespan of a week. If we plan to mage a large-scale game of this. A lot more of content would be included.
Really awesome game! :D
My positive points:
My negative points:
We know the game lacks player feedback. As well as the hand. We will change this once the ratings have closed. Thanks for checking it out!
Really nice game! These are my feedbacks:
The game part of this is the exploration and the immersiveness ;) There is not that much of gameplay, but that does not mean it can't be classified as a 'game' ;) Thanks for checking it out!
That's an awesome games! I especially loved the atmosphere and the art style. I have some suggestions too:
Maybe explain objectives more clearly at the start of each level, I was looking for stones to light the fire for a few minutes until I found out I need woods.
The arm's end is sometimes visible, maybe make it a bit longer or change its position a little.
There were some points in the jungle where I would get stuck, and having no jump made it really hard to "unstuck" myself :D
You are right. We could implement more player feedback, we are aware of that.
The parts where you got stuck at are stones scattered around the forest. We should remove the box colliders since you don't really see them due to the tall grass. Updates for after the game jam ratings.
That was great! I enjoyed this aspect of going back in time to see the past. The game felt thought out and looked really good. I would have liked there to be a reason for looking into the past as if there was more about cavemen or seeing the distraught past of natives or something like that. Overall really good for a week!
Thanks for playing! We wanted to implement more into the game, but the deadline kept closing in so we couldn't.
cool man, i love it!
Glad you like it, thanks for the comment :)
The environment is great! The idea of reliving the time of the museum artifacts is neat and it fits the theme well. Good job! Rated!
Those are some nice words, thank you :)
Good game; it has a nice shading, a nice atmoshere and a pretty gameplay; also the sound design is cool but there is something that need really improvement ( and it's simple): it's about the background sound, because of being short, when it restarts there is a sudden moment of silence that ruins a little the good atmosphere you could create here. Another thing that causes the same problem: it's the sun following the player, it's too anoying when you're looking at it! But well, no one would notice it.
Thanks for the constructive feedback, we will definitely take a look at those remarks :)
Awesome style and concept! I couldn't find whatever it was I had to hunt as the caveman though :( But the atmosphere in the forest is gorgeous.
Sad to hear you didn't find the bear, there is a lot more to do after you throw your spear at it! I can understand that he can be hard to find but after a while you should be able to find him. Someone made a gameplay video, it's on the page of the game. Maybe take a look at it to locate the bear? Thanks for liking the style & concept :D
This is sooo good! The concept, the atmosphere, the look - everything is impressive! I would definitely play this as a full game!
Lovely comment! Who knows, maybe we'll make a game out of it :). But for now we all rest a bit haha :P
What I liked the most is that it is completely unclear what at all happens (like I knew I should eventually find a bear but wasn’t certain on how to search) but it doesn’t annoy you (largely due to the awesome atmosphere) and you make progress anyway. Very good from game design perspective.
I am glad that we are on the same page on this one :). I was thinking about adding a little circle indicator to where the bear is if you really can't find him after x amount of time.
Really cool game! Love the atmosphere!
<3
I loved the environment design so much !! The fonts the ambiance the sfx feels so great !! The gameplay feels so good !! Good concept !
loved the game so much !!
Thanks for the nice comment, we appreciate it :)
Ooh this game is great. The environment and atmosphere is done really well, and the gameplay is fantastic! Loved it overall.
Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
Fantastic work !! Love everything there is in the game!
It's amazing you made it in only 7 days. I would love to play more if it gets updated
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it so much!
I'm really sad that I yeeted the spear past the bear..
Don't worry, not all cave men are born hunters. But in time you will need to be a good hunter in order to survive I'm afraid :P
nice idea, but at least to me the game is buggy a lot of times. I got to places where I could no longer move. I recommend many more game tests :)
Can you also check out our submission? Thank you!

Yeah I am aware of the problem. It is caused by rocks that are scattered around the play area, but you come to a stop due to their box colliders. I think it is better we disable the box colliders because most of the rocks you won't see if you don't pay attention to it.
Thanks for playing though!
ok ! good job
Interesting and artsy idea, I really like it. The visual style is astonishing, I liked every bit of it. I enjoyed playing the game. Spotted bugs: Main menu is shifted out of the screen on the 1920x1200 resolution. Also I've seen the end of the hand in the painting part. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the feedback! We will take it into account and update it when possible! I hope you enjoyed it :)
The visual style and design looks great and gives the game a pretty cool atmosphere, but I couldn't really figure out what I was supposed to be doing. I ran around, the spear appeared, and I kept running around. I think I saw a bear at one point, but I couldn't get to it?
Thank you for the feedback! When you have the spear, you're supposed to 'hunt' the bear by throwing your spear at it. Then you would unlock the next chapter. Maybe we should implement some player feedback at that point.
I thought I tried left clicking the bear the first time around and it didn't work... I tried it again now and I did manage to finish it :) Definitely seems like this could be a cool way to do some storytelling
But yeah it might be helpful to direct the player a bit.. the forest was a bit difficult to navigate at first so I had no idea if I was even doing the right thing :)
We will keep that in mind for future projects! Thanks for the feedbacki
It's an interesting idea and has some cool moments narrative wise, especially after vertex painting the cliff it shows up in the museum, a link to the past in a way.
Good job!
Thanks for playing! I hope you enjoyed it! :)
Beautiful! Ambience is lovely, the concept is great, and I love the font you chose for the game.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
