Well thought out game. Fun to puzzle through the different scenarios :-)
great game, awesome level design
Great game, didn't expect the simple mechanics to turn out to be that much fun in the beginning! :D
The art is amazing, and I love how squishy the SFXs are! Really fun game, but I got too frustrated to finish with the difficulty spike, soft-locking myself, and having the ropes break starting in level 4.
Yeah, the dificulty spike in level 4 is something we definitely have to adress. You can freely select any level from the main menu though, if you get stuck.
The background is insanely good ! love this,Good job !
The rewind implementation is clever, the puzzles are quit interesting and fun :D Well done. Hope you try mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722968
Actually already rated it yesterday, just didn't comment.
I love the idea of rewinding the ropes . Well done. I had a lot of fun playing it.
Checkout my game at https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724912 . I would really love your your feedback.
Fun puzzle cure graphics, and I rly like the rope rewinding :) Player movement and mechanics also worked great!
Fun rewind mechanic. Puzzles were fun to solve.
Interesting approach on the theme, I love the visuals, the audio and the rope/line behaviour, great job!
I love the graphics, especially the background, plus I love the use of the theme as rewinding ropes! Great job!
Very cool ideas here! Great job~ Not sure if it has been mentioned but your parallax code seems to be reversed (the distant clouds should move less than the midground etc.) Made me feel a bit dizzy haha. The controls felt great! Keep it up~
I liked your game a lot! I got what the red line means pretty much immediatley however i think the player shouldn't be able to block the rope because it creates this "clunkiness" where you have to put the spool down and then move away from it a little first before you can actually set it up. However still very fun and enjoyable :) Good job!
The game is interesting and the overall quality is high, but I read about the red-rope-thing after a while, so I thought that the game was heavily bugged or something like that. Other than this, I think that the speed at which the ropes are pulled could be a little faster. Good job!
Thanks! The red line is something we definitely have to improve after the jam.
Really fun game! I like the paralax on the background! And winding in ropes was a really creative take on the theme!
Cool little puzzle game and interpretation of Rewind (and gfx).
Feel free to check out my short and sweet puzzle game with record/rewind mechanics (Backtrack): https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723990
Really fun puzzle game! The only thing when you use the spool the character gets in the way, and it was really confusing at first when it wasn't connecting. Besides that, really fun! Good job!
Nice game!! really liked the rewind mechanic! the aesthetic was also really nice, Love the slim sprite!
It's fun to do the puzzles! great job there! :)
Awesome interpretation of "Rewind" :) Great little game, though I didn't manage to solve one of the early puzzles (4th one I think with the box with 2 spools on the bottom) :)
Such a great and adorable game the rope mechanics are super impressive too! Overall a really unique take on platforming that does a great job incorporating the jam theme!
