In what way does your game fit the theme?
Midnight special not only literally has a rewind interaction within the game, you will find that the entire premise of the story revolves around a spirits own past and a groundhog day style time loop. Spoilers, but that's probably important!
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, the majority of it save for the sounds.
All images were photomanipulations I did with Adobe Stock licensed images and Pexels stock images, as well.
No code was taken from the asset store, although I did look at dialogue system tutorials along with unity documentation.
Finally, sound assets are not mine, all sounds are from the Unity Asset Store.

Really immersive!
Hey I loved this cool game had me laughing away, I enjoyed it, it was well paced and you got the pacing about right all the way through which is actually quite hard to do in this style of game.
... come over to my page if you have time, I think you might like my game...
Cheers
Awesome execution of the idea! Definitely kept me entertained throughout. Could have used a bit faster text readout. Great work!
That was quite a scary experience, I was expecting a ghost to come out of the screen at one point like in the Ring. I must have pressed the turn off button like 50 times man haha!
I like the overall feeling of the game. The sounds are excellent and the story, although going a bit fast, is very nice. I didn't really feel I was controlling anything though, just going along with the ride. If I was controlling something by pressing the button on the remote I didn't understand what that was. Overall a very nice experience though good job
Had me on edge the entire time. Good submission! If you have time I would appreciate you quickly checking out my game as well :)
Awesome game!
i really appreciate the narrative of the game, cool desing and music. really inmersive and an original way to bring up the rewind theme. good job!
Maaaaaaan, you are a magician! You got me hooked and want to know more about what is behind all this. How did you think up the story. When is the next episode coming out????? Really cool with the crying and the spatial sounds. I would like the text to write a bit faster but other than that, a really really cool minigame!!
Wow, that's so cool! TV channels switching as a game mechanic! I enoyed every bit of it. And the sound is wonderful. Thank you for this emotions!
I loved the spooky atmosphere! It was a bit short in my opinion but overall still felt like a complete experience, especially considering the 7 day time window to develop the game. I liked that it delivered a good horror experience without relying too much on cheap jump scares. Good job!
i really enjoyed it. However there is a bug, where you skip first messages. You will get this thing and game will stuck
Ahh yeah, that one.. It's because that button actually forces it to give you the next sentence any time you press it. So if it's pressed early it smashes the lines together and breaks the string length check. I'm definitely going to put a delay for when the button shows up after this, thanks!
didn't considered as a bug, i tought it was neat lol
I liked it :) The pacing was good, the length seems appropriate for a jam game. It was fairly original (I watch/play a *lot* of horror), so kudos on that!
Great Horror game. Well done! :)
Great job! I am not much of a horror game player, but I will say that my friend couldn't stop playing it! He likes the whole Five Nights At Freddy's games.....so job well done.
Could you also play and rate my game?

So spooky...
It's very rare to find a good jam horror game, whose "horror aspects" are created by building up the actual atmosphere rather than using cheap and obnoxious jumpscares. The tension was real and the visual design was excellent. Great job!
Thank you so much!! Just wanna say you made one of my favorite games in the jam. Keep up your awesome stuff :D
Horror games give me chills and make me uncomfortable, that's why I couldn't play more haha.
But it's a really nice game!
Play my game too!
Great Game! It definitely didn't disappoint, only thing is, at the start you would wait looking at pizza pics while the dialogue was off, so it felt a bit boring at these times, overall spooky, scary game, that did what it was supposed to!
I'm happy you enjoyed it! I'm curious whether you mean it was frozen on the pizza pic, or do you mean the idle in general was boring? I'm trying to brainstorm how to make the beginning more engaging without ramping up the creepiness too quickly haha
