In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game's objective is to find lost fragments of your soul, hidden inside source objects. You can only finish the game if you find all 9 objects.
The more fragments you've found, the more powerful and stronger you become against the enemies.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the assets, including scripts, models and music were made by myself using free available software like unity and blender.

Cool concept and simplistic design with the light sources and I found the blender ape haha really nice, awesome game

Hey thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed!

This game was pretty fun! It gave me an eerie feeling and I always had a feeling something was going to just pop out of the dark and jumpscare me. The bell ringing really enhanced the experience haha. One thing though, I'd appreciate if the game had some way to move your camera as I reached a point where the camera was going through the ground and I was softlocked. The music was really relaxing despite the eerie feel of the game, if you upload (or uploaded) it to youtube, I'd appreciate a link :)

Overall, really great game. I'm not too sure how it fits into the theme very well but I liked the gameplay.

I really like the idea and overall game experience. But I'm afraid I am no fan of the polygon texutures.
And that whole dark thing where you hardly can see anything and the spooky sounds made me a bit uncomfortable. But thats most certainly just me, cause you made a good game here! And no worries, as I think that this is the effect you were aiming at, I rated your sond good, never the less ;)

Thanks you very much! I appreciate it!

Really fun game, I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere and loved the music. The only problem I had was I was unsure of where to go, everything looked the same and I couldn't find anything. To fix this I suggest altering the level design to filter the player towards a specific point or down a specific path in the beginning, then opening up into the large area.

Overall, fun game!

Thanks for your feedback! Very nice idea!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game. The music works very well with the visuals. However, I struggled a bit with navigation. With everything looking kinda the same, it was difficult to tell where I had and hadn't been. Maybe a map or some sound clues would help. Also, the level boundaries were sometimes hard to distinguish from the walkable areas.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Great choice of music. I think it would be nice if i can feel that i have fang off the enemy if you get what i mean? great job btw!

Developer

Thank you! That is a nice idea, thanks for the feedback!

Great atmosphere and ambience, it has chase mechanics so you can't just fly around and chill! Though, the game would benefit from extra clues for collectibles.

I had such much troubles getting the last part haha. Great atmosphere.

I like the fact the light is getting stronger by finding more elements. However, above 5 or 6 I feel like it it stronger than the seekers light so it hides them... which makes it frustrating when trying to avoid them.

One little detail for improvement might be a camera angle change possible or a way to click for moving when on the edge of the map. Sometimes I got stuck behind a hill and had to click everywhere randomly to be able to move again haha.

Except from that, I agree with the other comments, a little clue on where to find the parts, or when you get closer would be great :)

Simple idea, good enemies, good atmosphere. Good job !

Thank you very much for your amazing review!

Originally I was actually making a much more smoother camera system, where the camera would adopt different angles based on objects of interest close, but I couldn’t manage to pull it off in time, same with the player movement. Maybe after the jam if I continue developing it.

Glad you enjoyed and beat my game!

Very creepy and ominous game, the music helps a lot and is perfect for it, I love the point and click style and using the light source to find fragments of your soul! I love it!

The music and atmosphere are great, but 3-4 souls to collect would be enough.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Noted the feedback.

Nice game! VERY innovative, very creative

btw also check my game haha ;))

Thank you very much for your kind words!

The game is good enough. I love minimalistic games, the only possible problem is that the controls are too jerky. It will be very good if you rate my game too.

Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoyed!

The click movement is little weird, polygon texuture seemed plain. Awesome idea, nice athmosphere, but too long and repetetive for me! Great work

Really like the atmosphere and the audio is a good kind of minimalist. Just enough to do its job, in a good way. Some audio cues whether I am getting closer to an object of interest would be good (I know there is one, but some ques for further away would be great).

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Cues for getting close have been added to the to-do list!

Very nice atmosphere to the game, I found 6 soul before the spikes got me but it plays and looks really nice. I don't see where the theme fits in, you could argue the more souls you collect the stronger the light gets but I didn't see it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you made enough progress. So in terms of fitting the theme, as you progress the light gets stronger so you see better, the FOV increases showing you more of the map at the same time, and your speed also increases.
At the same time, the spikes also become more and more as you progress (from 1 at the beginning to 4 near the end), the seekers also become more and move faster. So in fact I tried fitting the theme for both the player and the enemies.
But I understand it might be subtle, so I do not expect to be the best game in theme votes.
Thank you very much for the feedback!

Do you happen to have a download version? I can't seem to get the game to load. :(

I am sorry for your inconvenience. I did not have enough time to make a normal build, and now I cannot add it any more. Sometimes this happens with webGL. If you try again and wait a bit longer it should work.

Holy moly, that was tough! But I really loved it! The atmosphere, the dark lighting, and the little 3d modeling references. It was so cool! My only gripe is controlling by clicking, but I learned and got used to it. Super cool!

Thank you so much for playing and enjoying my game! Finally someone noticed Suzanne! xD
