So I like the theme. It fits really well with "the world" situation right now. Other than that, this game is pretty much just an endless runner. But that doesn't mean it is bad or anything. Really great effort considering you made it all by yourself!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Theme is hidden in games mechanics. Your group's strength depends on your follower count. More followers = more guards you can pass.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, all gaphics and audio is made by me.

This was a cute addicting game. I loved the music, well-done!
Definitely playing this with mouse is much better than keyboard. The music has moments with a lot of potential but then some other instrument plays and ruins it a bit but still it is enjoyable. Apart from that I really had fun :D
For infinite runners I like how you used the theme as a mechanic to make it different. Using mouse it became pretty fun when it got super fast.
I liked it, it could be a great time burner for a mobile app or something like that. My highest score was 220, playing on a drawing tablet, and I admit that there were some pretty fast parts. I think that the fact that the player is so high up on the screen difficults the reaction for the player to avoid the police, it gives them less time to move, so moving the player a bit down could be a useful maneuver. Apart from it, the game is pretty fun, and I liked it!
My high score was 193. I agree with what other people are saying about pulling the camera back so its somewhat easier to prepare for what's coming. I also think adding modifiers or power ups would help create a bit more variety in the gameplay. Maybe you could run into a group to collect a bunch of followers, or give a speech that makes your group invincible for a time. Well done though!

Very well made game! I would suggest looking into a different color pallet, the colors on the left of the screen are very jarring, lospec has a great list of pallets you can look through :) Great job!
Fun game, the music though is something that will haunt me in my dreams! Great job :D
Nice entry. Got 160 points and managed to get 16 followers. Problem is when speed increase, the control (at least with KB) stays the same, so it makes impossible to catch more followers.
Maybe pulling out the camera as speed increase would make the game more fair.
With mouse, it's another story. Manage to catch 38 followers, but hit the grass at 120 points.
Great work! What a creative way to weave the jam theme into the narrative and gameplay structure!
Having an in-game tutorial was really nice and helped teach the rules way better than just reading the itch page.
However, the game did make me a bit dizzy when it started getting faster and I had to exit fullscreen mode. Other than that, while the game is fairly simple, I think it has a lot of charm!
