In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are the sole survivor of the invasion on Mars and you try to defend the Earth to meet the same fate. While doing that you meet other pilots from Earth, who are supporting you in your mission.
You can win solo, but to win easier and more efficient, you are stronger with the support of the friendly pilots. You are, quite literally, stronger together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes we did.
We created the sprites, the backgrounds, animation and all the sounds ourselves.

Nice little game. Enjoyed the graphic style and presentation, nice audio and the gameplay felt quite unique for a Shmup style game.
I kind of wish there was more strategy with the vertical positioning of the player in relation to the enemies(eg, right now if you go above enemies neither of you are able to hit each other). Also maybe the game-play could be a bit quicker, though I think adding more gameplay possibilities with that vertical axis could significantly speed up the game by default.
I enjoyed this one although I would've loved if it had been a little faster-paced, but that can be up to personal preference.
Nice visuals and sfx. I found the bgm a little bit annoying but other than that nice polished game. well done.

The background music, for me, felt somewhat noisy I guess. There's this grainy spikes sound right, I kinda don't like that.
was it always or at some random times?
I might need to change that in the future. Might be that it clashes with the sounds.
A very nice game with great audio! The movement speed was a bit fast for me, but other than that, it was great!
Really interesting take on the space shooter game, I think you really nailed the visuals, as it felt extremely like the ones we are used to. One thing to improve is to maybe think more about balancing, so maybe give the enemy with more bullets less health, so that they are not as dangerous, as they are right now and the first enemy maybe poses more of a threat compared. But otherwise, you had great audio and it fit the theme very well, good job, keep it up!

When too many object in the scene, hard to follow what's going on. My suggestion is, the stars in the background would be shrink down or fade a little bit.
I had a great time with it, fun to play.
I like your game but have a few minor comments. The player is super fast so this means I could fly behind all of the enemy ships and camp there until they circle around to kill them. Also maybe have the enemy ships be able to turn. All in all well done!

Nice game! Kind of wish there was greater use of friendlies. It'd be cool to have temporary allies instead of the power-ups.
I love space shooters! Well made and fun! Good level design, great music and sound effects. Just wish there was a little more implementation of having friendly ships for the theme. Often found myself losing my one ship or not having one until the end when i had three. Otherwise was really awesome!
Yeah i agree in hindsight it would have been better to have more friendly ships instead of the powerups.
