Fun and interesting concept. It would have been nice to have a downloadable version for this game, I had a lot of lag with all of those broken pot shards flying around. Also, never found the TV, even though it was on the objective. But smashing everything was fun and cathartic, and the music was perfect.

Quick tip: if your using the itch desktop app you   can download it. But I think we ran out of time and forgot sadly. Thanks for playing!

Nice idea! Really cool, my recommendation is to add a small arrow or direction that let me know where's the next objective.

This is pretty fun. I like breaking stuff and that Neo-in-the-Matrix-looking cat is trippy. At first I thought the right mouse button zoomed in, instead of dashing. A sound effect might've helped with that. The goals are a nice touch. I like that I can wander around (i.e. I'm not forced into a goal), but that a goal is available in case I'm confused or get bored. The mouse-look sensitivity is way more sensitive than I expected, but I got used to it pretty fast. Good work.

But I gotta ask. Who is this cat's roommate or owner? Like, who leaves that many vases sitting around the house? Are they really thirsty, or is their toilet broken, and they're placed for conveniece? Maybe the owner makes pottery, and they're all set out to dry? Or they're a florist getting ready to assemble a bunch of wedding decorations? I think they really just like pots.

This is a cool game, I liked this quite a lot. The UI could do with a bit of work because it looks a bit blocky looking and kinda stale but this is a bit of a nitpick, another small nitpick is that it took me a while to understand how to play and also you could see outside the world with the camera sometimes by moving the cat towards a wall and moving the camera to make the wall invisible.

This is a cool game overall with a cool take on the theme and fun to play around in. Good job!

I was actually thinking about an idea like this yesterday, so was quite happy to play it today!

Got stuck on shards quite a bit, and the game felt like it was bugging out on a me a bit, but that was most likely the cat acting out on me a little. There seemed to be multiple cats meowing, which felt trippy and chaotic for sure. Not sure I enjoyed that part too much, felt that the audio could have been mixed better, and didn't really feel like a challenge since it didn't escalate once I figured out the controls. Otherwise, was pretty fun to play! Thanks for the entry.

Nice jam entry!

I had fun with this. I liked the weird cosmic glitch kitty. A cool effect for sure. I had some issues getting stuck on shards after they had broken. But ultimately didn't stop me from wrecking absolutely everything. I think I would have liked to see some sort of increased difficulty in the timer running out more quickly the longer the games or something. I ended up breaking most things and then just sitting there without much to do.

As an aside - I hope you didn't model this home after anyone you know. I can't imagine living with plates and glasses and vases sitting everywhere lol

Great job on this game, well done!

Good concept. Fits the theme great. Sadly my game began to lag after some time :/

Very nice concept, with nice background audio ;) ,  but animation need some love, and somehow edit shards colliders cuz few times I managed to get stuck in it. And maybe little bit more clear objectives. But still realy good job

I loved the music by the way!!

it would be better if the time was extended because I felt that the time was moving so fast, otherwise good job!!

Fun little game! I really liked the music and sounds on this one. It's also very satisfying to destroy all this stuff because of the breaking parts. The level design is also well done.

But I also saw so things that you could improve:

1. Breaking stuff:

When you break something you are always stuck for a few ms, it's small but noticable.  Maybe a way to fix this is also add physics to the things that aren't broken yet. Then you probably won't be able to get stuck most of the time and you can make a cool feature around this. Like the cat can push thing of the table that break. Further more I like it that flying debris breaks other stuff.

2. Objectives:

I have no idea how to complete the objectives. It says for example "destroy all cups" but how can you do that in 10 seconds. But the facts that you added objectives is a good thing. You can really do something cool with it like "destroy 10 blue vases".

3. Sounds:

As I said I really like the sounds but before you start playing you guys went a little over the top when it comes to cat sounds, or maybe that because of the chaos theme : D. For the music, music man good job :)!

4. Scores:

It's sometimes a bit annoying to always enter a new to add a new score. You can for example just add a highscore or if you want to keep the feature where you can see multiple scores with names maybe just add a "Don't save button".

5. UI:

It's a 7 day game jam so UI isn't that important but if you wanted to make a post jam update you should clean up the UI a bit and pick something else than a plain purple background.

Remember this is just feedback and don't need to listen to it. Overall you did a good job and made a fun little quality game. Congrats to the whole team!

Thank you for the detailed feedback ^^

We ran out of time at the end, so some of the quirks can be attributed to that. But you also made new suggestions, so again: Thank you. This feedback was very helpful :)

First of all thank you for the very detailed and helpful feedback.
1. This was a glitch in character that we only figured out right after the jam was over.

2. The names of the objectives are a little bit confusing but objectives just increase  the amout of points you get for breaking certain objects.

3. I'm not the music man so I can't really say anything lol.

4. Noted.

5. Had plans but ran out of time lol.

Once again thank you for playing our game!

Very wonderful game! I love the sensitivity is  a bit too high and quite confusing at first but overall a cool game!

This was a nice and fun little game :)

I love how you decided to have everything shatter and shards flying everywhere, once I destroyed a decent amount of stuff, you look back and there's the satisfying feeling of "hey! I did that!". I really think this was a fun game and I love how when you break glass, there's a chance that the debris would land on something else and smash that too! (That might just be wonky hitboxes but I'm gonna go with debris breaking it)

Three things that I saw is that the camera was a little jumpy occasionally when a shard blocked it, so it would suddenly come close to the cat and it was quite jarring. Another thing is I didn't quite understand what the objective was supposed to do, it just seemed like something that was in the top right that I didn't need to pay attention to.  This is a nitpick, but I also would've liked something like a piece of text that hovers above/next to the score which tells you how much it increased.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The objective system unfortunately didn't get quite finished in time. I am glad you still enjoyed the game :)

That was pretty fun! Though it did take me a while to figure out that i had to click to break them.

Thanks for playing! The description has been updated with controls in it because of your feedback.

1480 points! Not bad, if I do say so my self.
This game has many imperfections (expectable lags, clunky jumps, seemingly pointless goals, place for artistic improvement), but it is was my most fun experience so far.
The idea is incredible, breaking everything is satisfying, neat credits.
The musician in particular gets massive applause from me!
Keep on fighting! :)

Thanks you!
It was indeed a pleasure to make the music (and sfx) for this game, I even recorded my own cat :
