How does you game fit the theme?
You read through information, look at a painting, and have the possibility to scan the painting with your right-click.
In the end, you need to decide, if the current picture is real or fake.
Can you manage to find all the clues and reach the end of the game?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. Music made by @Reves, Assets/Font by @Kaynooo. Code by @nion/necsi

This was a fun little game gave me total 90s cd game vibes for some reason which is a good thing! great job!
Enjoyed your entry. Nice idea with the lense revealing hidden information. Also I love the fact that you integrated infos from the real world into the game :) One thing I would have liked is a sound effect (and maybe particles) when you evaluate an image correct or wrong.
Pretty cool game! the art was great and the little descriptions and blurbs after you finished were fun
Liked the game.
It had a really good vibe.
I like the pixel art and the way we interact with it.
You could have added some more sound effect/particles to make it more impactful.
This is a funny game and I would say it is kind of a half art knowledge and half game property. There are a lot of fun artwork especially in the modern period of American and this can really become a game that makes people both learn and laugh and enjoy the game in the same time.
I really liked the game! I actually had to finish it twice becouse the first time I just tried to remember the right answers lol, then I actually saw that you could right click to check for clues and the whole thing made much more sense hehe
The only thing I would change is for example in the pikachu one, you shoudn't be supposed to know that it wasn't made in 2004 (it can not be so obvious for some people), and all the clues should be explicitly exposed in- game only. Other than that I think with more levels and a bit more polish you could have an awesome and commercial game!
Yea, you are so right! I think one of the things I learned from the game is that a simple "screenshot with text on it" - Tutorial is not really good, as people tend to just skip it and try to play the game without reading xd I'm definitely coming up with something better next time!
Ooh, and also, the thing with Pikachu was a really bad idea, I just didn't have any others at 5 am, and so it ended up like this xd. One of the worst puzzles in the game, I'll probably change it up after the Jam!
Thanks for playing and the great feedback! :)
The game was really interesting! The paintings and details had to be closely inspected to find a fake and real one. There were a few details that shows which are fake. The game has a little humor sprinkled around too! The swiping felt a bit slow, though. More sfx would also add to the game. Overall, it's a very solid game!
It is one of the best-designed games that I played for this jam. Beautifully polished/simple title screen. Using the theme question most literal way. Simple but well-executed gameplay. I really liked it. Using the theme question most literal way. Bravo to all three of you. Cheers.
That's an awesome idea that I would love you to develop ! I really believe that there is some potential !
I would recommend a little more time to decide for every painting, because I unfortunately did not have time to analyze everything every time, but maybe I am just really slow ^^'
Really great job ! :D
That was a great idea ! The art and music are both cool, and the painting descriptions are pretty funny too ;)
I liked it, good work !
This was pretty great, I really enjoyed it. My only real complaint is it would've been nice to have some additional sound effects, and the timer could've benefited from a "time running low" warning sound, especially since it's pretty tucked away in the corner.
Neat idea, reminded me of Papers Please. My only issues were that some of the text was hard to read with the way it was laid out, and of course it could use more levels with more things to look out for. Good work!
