As the others said, the first word was pretty tough to guess. HOWEVER
I really like the guy we're playing as! How the animations work is very unique in my opinion.
And the overall idea and gameplay are very solid!
Great job!
Also, if you have time, could you rate mine as well? 🥺 Thanks!
Neat escape room game! I feel that the game had a weird difficulty curve, but otherwise, it was pretty enjoyable. The game has a jump mechanic but doesn't really use it, so adding a some puzzle or obstacle using the jump would be nice, like a small platforming section or a pressure plate puzzle.
Thanks waguu07! Great suggestion! Love the pressure plate puzzle and platforming idea.
Amusing, and I had fun. I like the aliens peeping in the window. I didn't think the first code was too hard--it just should probably have been the final puzzle. I think my only issue was I just found the way the character moves to be kind of uncanny-looking, but that's minor.
Thanks for playing gwenckatz! And thanks for your feedback! Any suggestions on improving the character movement?
it was a cute little puzzle game. I like the character and animation. like others, I think the first puzzle was soo hard, and after that, it was too easy. I wish I knew how to balance it but I find it so difficult to balance a puzzle game (I have a puzzle game that no one can solve without my help so who am I to judge :))
Thanks for your feedback nima.peykarimeh! Yeah, I’ll definitely be working on balancing it after the jam.
Cool game with a nice story! Had a little trouble with the first puzzle, but even the note gives you hints so I don´t really see it as a problem, I may have been overthinking it too much. The art is good looking and works well into the game!
Thanks Agezma!
Fun game! I think you already know this, the beginning code was super hard, but it's all good. I think the blank cans threw me off. Great game though!
Thanks! And yeah it's definitely on my list of things to improve on. Any suggestions you might have on helping with that first code? I really appreciate the feedback! :)
The game is great and deserves a place at the top. Puzzles were funny but changes at the game area while you make progress on the puzzles really surprised me and made it a better experienced. I only had trouble at the first puzzle because since I am not a native speaker, I am not very good with vocab puzzles, but I think it's all on me. Congrats for your work!
Thanks so much LeongardZ!
The first puzzle was hard (because I'm really bad at word puzzles), I eventually used google to find a word with those letters because I really wanted to see what would happen next. The second puzzle might have been a bit too easy in comparison.
I love the art, and seeing changes in the background when you progress freakt me out a little :). Good game, I wish it was longer (which is a good thing!)
Thank you Last Angle Studio! Is there anything you might suggest to balance those puzzles? Specifically I’d love to hear any suggestions on adding to that second puzzle. I’m planning on expanding the game, so if you have any thoughts that might break that puzzle up into different rooms or something I’m all ears. I really appreciate the feedback!
Honestly I'm not very great at coming up with puzzles myself :'). But maybe don't tell the player directly what to do (flush the goo) but hint at it more subtly? Like having a drop off goo hanging on the toilet, or seeing some when you open the lid. I don't know if any of that would make sense in the story though.
Yeah that makes sense! More hints, less overt direction. Good thoughts! Thanks again!
Hi! I could't pass the first puzzle, but it was a nice game, I really loved the art!
Thanks Beli123mm! I’ll definitely be working on that first puzzle after this jam. Thanks for playing!
Hey!
I tried it but sadly I couldn't pass the first puzzle (sorry!).
Since I don't know the solution I can't make suggestions. But maybe you could add hints if people try many codes and doesn't get it right.
Art looks good and if feels good to move around!
Congrats on your submission! :)
All good, yeah I've been hearing the first puzzle could use some hints. I'll definitely have to add those. But thanks for playing!
I'm sure you're playing through a lot of games, but I just added a clue for the first puzzle on the game page. Feel free to take a look if you want.
I figured it's an anagram. But I'm still missing it :(
English is not my native language, I'm not sure if that's hurting my chances.
Are you on the Brackey's discord? I could send you the answer if you want :)
Well done! Love the footsetps sounds haha, I love also the art and idea over all. Nice work :)
Thanks Yupr!
Nice job. I really liked the changes in the background as the game progressed. I did have trouble solving the first puzzle, was thinking the number of cans indicated the order or something. Some music could have been a nice addition but the sound effects were good.
Thanks Megagon! Yeah I had wanted to put some music in, but couldn't squeeze it in before the deadline. Do you think that first puzzle would be helped by not allowing numeric characters? Thanks for your feedback!
Yeah, that would help eliminate some of the wrong options. Another thing that might help is if you put all the letters for the first word together in the left cupboard and the second word in the right so the words are a bit less scrambled and the player is more likely to spot what's going on.
Yes! For sure! I had originally thought about doing that, but thought maybe it would be too easy then, haha. Apparently not, lol.
Cool artwork and animation it super fun fit the style! Great job bro!
Thanks Sofiane-Bekkari!
The first pizzle is hard. I spent at least ten minutes trying different combinations with the letters on the cans but nothing worked. The style, the animation and the sound effects are solid, though.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that it was hard. Were you able to figure it out after that? Also, anything you felt you would have wanted to help you figure it out?
I love the smooth animation and decent graphics. It kinda reminded me this old game I used to play when i was a kid. Good work keep it up
Oooh which game? Do you happen to remember?
I don't really remember it was like 12 years ago when flash games were hit
Ah for sure for sure. Well cool, thanks! :)
If you have any ideas or feedbacks about my game please tell me!
Will do! I'll be playing more games tonight!
nice graphic and puzzles, the game is great.
Thanks Shellcial!

really nice game!
great effort, the art is good too ;)
Thanks Rawal4Sky!
very cool game man
i found the puzzles weren't so difficult but they were fun
i also liked your art style
great job man
Thanks Ismail_Alsaad!
Nice job... but I couldn't solve the passcode. :(
Oh no! Sorry to hear that! Is there anything you might suggest to help better allude to how to solve the codes? Anything you wish you had to lead you in the right direction?
To allude better, I think it needs something that visuals to show proper hints such as in-order of the amount of the food cans which have alphabets. And another way that I would suggest is a fun narration during the gameplay. It would be mixed well with the game mood. XD
Totally hear you on that! Love the narration idea! Thanks for your feedback!
I'm sure you're playing through a lot of games, but I just added a clue for the first puzzle on the game page. Feel free to take a look if you want.
Nice puzzle game you got there! I definitely was getting a sort of creepy feel when the aliens started showing up as you completed tasks. I liked how creative the animations were, and they looked really smooth as I was playing!
Thanks DynomiteCentral!
