I actually really like it !

Gotta admit, the first special customer kinda spooped me !

But the Danganronpa meets Va-11-hall-a gameplay is really nice, and it would go well in a visual novel game ! :D

Not sure what the end picture means, but you can tell this game has something personal in it.

Good job ! :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Originally wanted to go a lot harder on the story telling side of things, but ended up sacrificing it for time - essentially the original premise was for each special customer to reward (you) the bartender with a polaroid as thanks for helping them. As a compromise between time and story, we kept the final image in as a homage to that original idea ^^

Oh yeah baby - 12 dollars on first two customers, they didnt like my sooper booze haha!

I actually didn't understand what they wanted from me, but i give you 5 stars for gamedesign and art just because i like the concept. Good job!

Haha, appreciate the feedback - the game is about mixing the colours of the "negative" words that appear over the patrons' heads. For example if the text says "anxious", you match up the colour with the corresponding drink (this inverts to positives for bosses). Definitely should've included more of a tutorial in the game for sure!

I thought the same, but when first guy gave me whole list of words and i made him super coctail he just made me broke below zero. I sent your entry to my teammate, let's see what he says!

Hey there, teammate here :D

I didn't read the description at first and was confused. Once I searched for instructions I figured it out though.

I like the idea of being a barkeeper and having to customize drinks for the individual guests. That's very creative!
I struggled with the language though since I didn't know all the words and failed a couple of times because of that.
This game is also not really friendly for colorblind people, but I don't see a way around that.

I like how you have to rethink when a bright person comes in, but I struggled with pleasing them and ended up losing the day a couple of times.
Is it encouraged to restart the entire game so you have a chance of having a bigger money buffer at the start of a day? That would be weird, but seems like it.

Overall this is a very creative entry. The graphics and sounddesign are both done incredibly well and the gameplay Idea is cool. I like how there's so many steps to making a drink. This made it very immersive.

Good ambience, the zooming background made it creepy and cool. I feel the game was a bit too hard from the get go, before I could figure out what were the opposite ingredient has was already challenged on making it quickly. Maybe a smoother progression with a single ingredient on the first level or something.

The core concept is really cool, nice art, nice mood, nice game.

It definitely needs an update after the jam is over to add more of a difficult curve, and a better in-built tutorial like you mention. Thank you for the feedback!

Really interesting idea, the "dark" vibe and the sound effects are really good, good job !

Submitted(+1)

Took me a couple of tries but it was pretty cool idea, keep polishing.

A cool game concept that really makes you wanna play. It was kinda hard to read the text as it was pretty fast. But great game! Good luck with the jam and I hope you'd rate my game too.

A great game concept that really bring you in to want to play.  as other mentioned the atmosphere is very fitting. I found it hard to pick up and the word would fade it seemed to fast and the night so short. However the feeling of the game kept me trying to figure it out.

Very well done.

This is great. The gameplay is inspired and the atmosphere is perfect. Nice job!

Good atmosphere, cool sounds. Fits the theme pretty well i'd say

Very atmospheric, and is a great match to the theme.  quite tough, I made it to day three!

This gave me "Papers, Please"-vibes in a very good way. Like most others pointed out, great atmosphere and sound design and spot on the theme.

Submitted(+1)

the atmosphere is amazing , i was properly immersed in the game, the sound design is insane and the difficult is the right balance between difficult and fair, the game also suits the theme perfectly

Cool game, I enjoyed the mood and the audio was cool. Something to improve on is diffuculty as some of the colours you chose were too close to each other. Overall a great game and eye-catching submission. If you would be so kind to rate my game, but its entirely up to you :)

A little bit to difficult for me, the words leave too fast, maybe and i think some colors are too similar.
But i love the mood and the audio

I really got caught in the game. It is really fun and atmospheric and dark

Submitted(+1)

Very interesting idea and very good execution as far as atmosphere and art direction goes.
The game could benefit from a less steep difficulty curve , simply having drinks with only 1 or two ingredients in the first day would make it much more accessible. Overall good job!

Interesting idea.

Unique idea.  Dark.

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea.

But I couldn't quite get any of the drinks 3/3.

There are always more than 3 colors in the feelings and I can't tell which ones I should use.

also they disappear really quickly and then I'm left remembering the words but not the colours 😂

its a cool submission though
