Super cool game for a game jam. The simplicity of gameplay and art combines into a somewhat complex experience. It also give of Assassins Creed vibes :-)

How does you game fit the theme?
A red creature follows you every step you make and an orange pole tries to grab you while you are running. Run to the top of buildings far away to get a speed boost ;)
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the game from scratch except the sky texture and the social media icons. The sounds are also from free to use websites.

really good game, i like the concept... the movement is smooth which makes the game better to play
Cute game with nice design and audio, I didn't fully understand the idea of change direction but other than that great!
Great entry, congratulations! Great visuals and sound! Can I ask something technical: In my WebGL build I noticed that a bug occurs in the Firefox browser as soon as I lock the mouse. Basically the camera just starts spinning like crazy. So I'm wondering: did you use any dark magic to work around this? If you have no idea what I'm talking about: never mind. I'll figure it out :D
I love the minimalist art style ! The game is fun too, but I think it lacks some feedbacks (audio and vfx) to really enjoy when you get a speed boost and to feel the creatures. Nice job :)
Definitely creates the sensation of being chased, which is great. I was initially confused as to what the goal was, thinking I had to go somewhere or find something, but from what I surmised, all you have to do is run in circles for as long as you can, which quickly felt repetitive. Unless there's an element I didn't get, I think the lack of depth makes it a short-lived experience.
That said, I think that with a few more very simple mechanics to add variety, this could easily become really fun.
The game looks and sounds amazing. But what was happening and what the goal is, is a bit unclear. But okay it was an interning experience.
I haven't described any game during this jam that could be described as 'beautiful,' but your game fits the bill. It's a knockout. I could look at it all day -- directly or indirectly, that is, while actively playing or simply having it as a background while I do other stuff. Amazing stuff.
About the music -- I wish something was driving musically herein, but I also appreciate what's here. It's atmospheric enough and compliments the game's beauty.
The gameplay and mechanics are fascinating -- I think they stand out because of how smooth movement is and how they align with the aforementioned attributes of the game. A suggestion: perhaps a quick on-screen tutorial would help accommodate new players.
Also, I'm not a stickler for theme tie-ins -- it shouldn't matter if the game is something wonderfully abstract as yours and might not have the direct, obvious tie to "You're Not Alone."
This game can be improved upon for sure, but it's also great as-is. Great job!
I think the goal of the game wasn't very clear. I didn't know if I had to go somewhere or just to run away from the creature. Still it was a surprising experience and the camera and wave effects on the floor are very cool !
Made it pretty far once I got the idea. It’s definitely very abstract, but that’s part of the attraction. I feel like I’m being chased by some kind of inter-dimensional being. I found most of the shelters, The one in scaffolding doesn’t look familiar, I must have missed that one. Really unique game with a beautiful look to it, thanks for sharing. i love the simplistic visuals and the graphics are great! Although, its a bit unclear on what you have to do. But the movement is really good!
I did not understand the game...liked the visual experience and felt like someone was chasing me...
Didn't know what the Yellow Boxes were doing.
Sound is great, graphics are great... the scenario is well made also the camera controller felt like i was an alien creepy creature moving at high speeds...
I think you can do great things with that controller and that setup...
sad that didnt find the game on this one.
I had no idea what was happening all I know is the game kept telling me to change direction, but it was fun!
Love the smooth visuals, the way the cubes move out the way is really satisfying, great work!
I thought i have to find something and i found a cube that gave me speed;) That was a great game and my high score is 76sec 😎
