How does you game fit the theme?
Well I guess

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did everything myself except for sound and music. I used CC0 assets for that.

cool game

As someone else already said, there are some issues in understanding how to move the protagonist. But besides that, the game works absolutely fine, I liked the graphic style and also the visual effect you implemented for the deformation of the underwater object. GREAT WORK!

Great idea, just sometimes felt difficult to maneuver the player as there are a lot of small corners the player struggles to get near.

Developer

Yes, I found that navigation issue during development but after redrawing the level ~7 times I didn't find the patience to do it again in order to fix it. Its something I'll take as a 'lessons learned'

i dunno if it's only me but everytime i pick item using space button the music also got toogled. overall cool awareness of the sea game :D

Cute little game with a nice message =). The gameplay is simple and a bit repetitive, but it was still a enjoyable entry. Congratulations, and thank you for raising awareness on water pollution =)!

This is for sure a great take on the theme. The ocean really needs our help!

I liked how the game was designed, because when you help the animals, you end up helping yourself too, just like in real life!

Nice entry!

good game but needs some polish

I agree with everything you just said ;-)

Great game, I LOVE the freed turtles helping to grab trash

A very fun game. It would have been nice to lower the volume of the SFX but it is a really fun concept.

Submitted(+2)

Maybe I should stop playing and do this in real life.

Great game!!

Maybe fixing loud SFX would be great

Love the game, it has a purpose. Good graphics and music, the game mechanics is pretty good too. Great work!

Cool game, I enjoyed the underwater mechanics and the wave screen effect was cool. Something to improve on is that the music doesnt exactly fit the whole theme your going for. A great game overall, what a good submission. If you would be so kind to rate my game, but its entirely up to you :)

The audio was a bit loud. The art was nice but the animations were a bit weird. Also, it wasn't all to fun to stand in place when I interact with something; perhaps make it where you have to hold e/space to interact and you can cancel the interaction by letting go.

I liked the bit of thought that I had to make on which was faster, free more animals to help get more trash or free less animals and spend more time collecting trash myself.

Overall a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Quite a nice game is it, the audio needs improvement tho

Developer

yeah, sound effects are too loud and not complete. Time became an issue at the end... you might know the issue ;-)

Hi, I feel like your game description needs to explain the controls, since I just guessed I had to use E to interact with stuff. On another note, I liked the underwater camera effect.
