How does you game fit the theme?
In this game, the problem is that you're not alone. You live in a city and the amount of people around you poses various issues that you try solving.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything other than sound and fonts (really didn't have time for typography :P) is made entirely by me from scratch.
Sounds/music is from Pixabay.com and fonts are from 1001fonts.com. Everything licensed as free for personal and commercial use.

Great idea. Nice interpretation of the theme. Well done!

This was cool and funny. I like the take on the theme. Good work!

Nice jokes, great graphics and SFX. He could move faster though. I didn't find anywhere to interact in the first level after getting the toast and ketchup. Great entry!

Developer

Thx! Yeah, many people are pointing out the slow speed of the player, and I have to agree. I'll change that once I update the game.
The interatable thing in the first level was the traffic light! I should have made it more evident somehow I guess...

Now THAT was an original take on the theme! The puzzles were nice, I enjoyed the humor, and you had the time to do many levels, that's awesome!

Cute little entry, congratulations =)!

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words :D

I like the simple art style and the puzzles really creative :). But I really missed being able to sprint. So ways felt too long.

Also it would be cool if there were multiple solutions to puzzles. In one of the levels I carried both items with me. Meaning: taking one, move a couple of meters, drop and get the other one, REPEAT. There the long ways were really painfull. I knew which item would do the job but I wanted to know if the other one would work as well.

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback!
You're right, multiple solution would totally make it interesting. But I prioritized making more levels since I probably wouldn't have the time to add even more mechanics to each level. I plan on working some more on this game after the jam, so I will totally try making this - it's always fun to give the player a choice on how they'll solve a puzzle. And I do agree about the speed being slow, wish I had made that faster but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

God that was a lot of fun, the humor is superb :D

Developer

Thank you!! I'm so glad people understand and enjoy the humor :D

I could not understand what am I supposed to do, still got some social anxiety. *introversy intensifies*

Developer

I'm sorry to hear that. The initial popup at the start of each stage was an attempt to make it more clear, but I'll try making it more clear next time :)

I love this art style. The soft claylike shading is really nice, it definitely works for this kind of game. Same with the goofy animations and the funny puzzle solutions, definitely a very cohesive game. I laughed more than once at the ridiculous solutions. Definitely a quick, easy game, but a really well designed one. Great job on this. My game is linked below if you’d like to check it out.

Cool interpretation of the theme! The walking motion was funny and made me walk all the time.

As a concept, I love it. Not only does it match the theme of "You're Not Alone" in an exciting way, but the premise itself makes the game promising. There's a lot of work that still needs to be done to improve both audio and gameplay mechanics, but that didn't deter my enjoyment at all though. I specifically liked the character designs, despite being minimal -- they did their job.

Even though ive only played 2-4 levels, i still stink this game is very fun and clever. I love how youu interpeted the theme, making the whole "youre not alone" aspect into a problem. Really creative, good job! :D

Clever turning the theme on its head making the fact that you're not alone into an annoyance.

Amazing. Love the humor in this  game and it's gameplay goes so well with it.  This is was a very clever idea for this theme.

Ambitious to make an adventure game in a game jam, and not a bad effort either. Good sense of humor, problems are easy but fun to solve, and despite the simplistic graphics it actually looks quite nice.

Nice game, gave me a couple chuckles, u should expand on it more and add more levels! super creative I love it :D

Simple yet brilliant, my moving box was a pocket dimension because I managed to pack my fridge in there, great entry!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Yeah, wouldn't it be great to have box where you can fit all your belongings?

Simple Graphics, Not a bad game, had some fun playing it, playing as a grumpy guy just wanting to be left alone, had a good laugh when I changed the train sign to Infinite money and everyone got on so I could get that briefcase, I will say the player feels a bit slow and to add a sprint option or increase speed! not bad!

The graphics are a bit simple, the game is pretty simple yet effecient, congrats on your work !
