Really nice and simple puzzle platformer! The timer in the corner really encouraged me to play over and over to try and get a good time. The best I could get was 0:55:3. fun game!

How does your game fit the theme?
The end of one level leads to a new level with a slight twist on the last level and the end of one speed run leads to the beginning of a new one.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all the code and assets were made by me apart from those made via tutorials and the basic player movement however I did change this code through the development of the game.

Made it to the end! :-) Nice pixel art and music loop! Seems quite simple, but not sure how you got that chain to pick-up the cube. :-) Please expand it. You could head in an Abe's Oddysee direction with this. You can do it! Anyway, this (see image) was my best shot!
Thanks for playing, nice time too! It took about 3 hours of staring at code to try and get that chain working! Thanks for the feedback, I do have to agree with you on it being a bit simple maybe in the future I will continue to develop the game, for now though I've got some other projects to be working on. Thanks for playing :)
Cute little game! The graphics are nice, and I appreciate the effort on the music and sound design, not all jam entries think about adding sounds AND music =).
The puzzles are really simple, but the concept was cool ^^. I think the difficulty curve is a bit too "flat", and needs to be spiced up, but I can understand that it's not that simple with a 7-days jam ^^.
From a game-design perspective, I would have liked if the two kind of buttons ("single press" and "hold") were a little bit different, even if it's a simple color change. They are two different input types and so need to be different.
Overall, that's a nice entry, with some little points to improve, but already showing some good game-making skills. Congratulations =)!
Thank you so much :)
Thanks for all the feedback I definitely agree the two types of buttons should have different colours to indicate what type of button it is. The Difficulty curve definitely needs to be spiced up if I do continue to work on the game after the jam ends I will definitely make that a target for improvement. Thanks for the amazing feedback. You produced a nice game too, well done!
The art is nice, The puzzles were simple, My suggestion would be to add monster to spice it up, or maybe a pet that helps with pressing the buttons, overall nice game.
I really liked your persistent level design , it echoes well with the theme ! The audio is a little short though. Interesting idea with the chains.
Good game !
Love the game! Wish there was a few more levels to be honest haha. But the mechanics were simple to understand and the puzzle were fun to solve. Nice job!
Nice little puzzle game. Good smooth controls and challenging. Well done!
Cool idea, was pretty well implemented given the time crunch. I really like the color palette too. nice work!
Nice little puzzle game! It would be cool to see more levels and mechanics added in the future.
Hey loved the game was unfortunate that I got stuck on one of the levels but very fun game!
Nice game!
There were only two main issues I really noticed.
The jumping felt a bit off. I think the game would benefit from giving the player a bit of coyote time.
The music did get a bit repetitive. Some variation in the track would've helped to spice things up.
Other than that, the concept was interesting, the art style was cute and I enjoyed my time with it!
Hi there, thanks for the feedback, I totally forgot to implement coyote time! If I end up continuing development of the game in the future I'll be sure to add it, thank you! I do agree with you, the Music did seem to be quite repetitive and I probably should have added another track. Otherwise thank you for playing and for the feedback, ill be sure to check out your game too.
Cool game! I enjoyed playing it, and i like the idea, but i noticed a few things that i didn't like. Sometimes, the small button was close enough to the door for me to just get in, the audio was glitching (but maybe thats just the case for me). Overall, I think that the game is very good :). Check out my game too
