How does your game fit the theme?
A man goes to sleep and when he wakes up, a new room exists. An end(sleeping, as in end of the day) is a new beginning(a new room).

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used freesound.org for some sound effects, but otherwise, yes.

Voice acting is excellent and the unintentional sopranos cut to black at the end was superb. Very nice.

I like how the main character is not surprised and he still sleeps like nothing's happening.

Good walking sim with creepy atmosphere.  Just the right length for a game jam and nicely on theme.

Great! :-) Nightmarish. I put the gems in place, then... I won't say what happened, but I wasn't sure if that was how it was supposed to end... On the technical side this was impressive. The visual style was very solid and smooth for 3D spaces in a browser. How did you get that effect? And, did you optimise the game in any particular way to make sure it worked online?

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! In the WebGL version it ends with a black screen instead of a cutscene for some reason, so that was not how it was supposed to end, but oh well. I guess I got the effect by just not using textures. I did not optimise the game to make it work smoother online.

Cool! Thanks for the tip on textures. I could still hear footsteps on the black screen, so I walked around for a bit, kind of worked with the surreal feel. :-)

Things you won’t experience unless you try this quirky, extremely surreal entry: the feeling of wondering, “Is that me saying ‘What the shit is that?’ about it, or is that it saying ‘What the shit is that?’ about me?”

I overall like the story and the voice over is really good. For me the game just seem to have a bit unfinished ending. But overall I like it. Well done.

Nice voice acting. Scared me more than the main opponent!

Submitted(+1)

hahahaha I don't know what is that, but that was really cool ^^! I can't believe how much work was that xD. The voice acting is incredible and the whole adventure is uncannily funny (even though I was scared for a jumpscare the whole time xD)!

That is a really solid entry, congratulations =)

What a gem. something completly different and i had more than 1 laugh playing it. Iam not sure if i finished it or encountered a bug. But after handing in the gems to the rabbit i got a black screen and nothing happened.

Anyway great entry.

same as you the feeling of the experience before that is rly cool

After completing a Playtest, 6 runs and even 2 Speedruns, The game is still a fun experience even after playing it for half your life. I encourage that people use the glitches they find to Speedrun Thirsty man. The order you do things in and which walls you get through do quite impact time. 10/10 game. Will Compete for World Record Again. Overall TheShinyRoaster did an amazing job.

This is a really good game. I love the interpretation and the audio+visuals are epic. My only complaint is that the movement is kinda weird so you can phase through walls (though maybe that's supposed to be a feature :P).

Also, I was not expecting a full-blown CUTSCENE at the end LOL

LOLOL great audio. How do you guys come up with this stuff lol. Very interesting. Had a good time. Would recommend.

The game has exactly my humor.

Beelzebub sounds a little like an old car trying to start. xD

The ending was a bit sudden and I didn't know if anything else was coming. Here you could have made it a little clearer than just a black picture.

Still a fun game.

Thank you so much! For some reason the cutscene does not play in the WebGL version, and it just fades to black without doing anything else(I should've probably playtested it). It works in the download version though somehow.

I got thirsty after playing this. But cool game! Try my game out!
