really enjoyable and playable game, i like it
I really enjoyed the graphics and the grapplin hook was very fun to use. Something that felt somewhat frustrating is that you're cancelling the player momenum as soon as you de-grapple, would have been nice to keep this momentum to allow swings with better mobility.

Graphics were amazing, hook mechanic was super nice, platformer character controller felt a little weird weight/physics wise.
The thing I didn't like was accidentally jumping off the world and fumbling the hook on the section where there is no floor and being sent right back to the start of the game. I don't enjoy mechanics like that.

Amazing artstyle! Grabling hook was realy fun to use even tho it took me a view minutes to get used to it.
Interesting game play, after I got used to the controls it was feeling pretty fun to swing around the levels. Well done!
What was wrong with the controls?
It works fine, it takes a little getting used to the grapple mechanics. Also I could grapple to a block and just move while connected in one direction with no gravity affecting me.
Oh yeah, I discovered this bug a couple of hours before release :D

I liked the twist in cycle 2.
The platforming was a little tricky, maybe a bit too much gravity? The grapple mechanic was fun, though you couldn't really "swing" or transfer momentum. Overall quite entertaining and I enjoyed the experience overall! (Plus, kudos for making a 2d sprite based platformer in unreal engine, you don't see that too often!)

With platforming I created some tricky points where you need to fail to go further, so player would have a little bit of panic. For example on level with chasing there are some platform that are too high, and you cant reach them

Very good game, although it's a little bit laggy on my pc
Really Nice! Loved that art and the swinging was really really nice. My main critique is that you die when your only barely off of a platform so it catches you sometimes when your swinging below. Also the abrupt freeze when you die is a little jarring(might be a performance issue?). Overall really cool and I liked it a lot!

That was really fun, the swinging was super satisfying, and the art was amazing, that background right at the start was gorgeous. The only complaint that I had was the kill plane was too low, there were too many times I was swinging under the platforms and just randomly died.
Oh yeah, Ive tried to fix that, but suddenly half of scrpits of game were ruined :D

The challenging gameplay of this platformer is reminiscent of Dark Souls, but still enjoyable despite its difficulty. Also, the size of the project initially concerned me at 190mb, but the stunning background art more than explains it.
Difficulty was unintentional :D
My first platformer in life was Hollow Knight, and after that my friends forced me to complete Dark Souls with a whip :D
But yeah, Ill balance game better next time

Loving the style! but for some reason the game runs not that good on my computer(but i think thats my problem) so would be nice to had some graphics option but for the rest pretty fun!
Funny grapple mechanic, although it may be a little difficult for some people to complete the levels, adding checkpoints would help, and a menu when clicking esc instead of closing the game would be cool. Nevertheless, it was a fun experience, especially the final shortcut.
Quite pretty style! I love the background! I sadly crash at seemingly random places, so i haven't gotten to play the whole game. (Some "Device" errors) The movement is a bit too floaty for my preferences, but the grappling hook is very fun!
