Overall, the game has a great lot of charm to it. The artstyle is very cute and simple. The controls feels wonky though, since the player feels like they move on ice. The 2 enemies and a boss that you fight also feels very simple to defeat. Although the game has a few points to fix, It's a funny little game that's quite cool to play.
Yooo Monkey! I felt like an actual monkey trying to escape some pirates 10/10 Overall the game mechanics were really fun and hilarious! One little bug was at the part with the boss, I could not shoot the poop in the right direction so I had to go sideways on the left side and shoot him from there. Otherwise the game was a blast XD hahha laughed a few times

Music on this entry was epic! The artstyle is also fun. Controls, other than camera movement worked also well. I felt that the first fight scene fell a bit short though, the arena was rather small and the action lacked some game feel. But the theme and idea behind this was superb, so I think that with some polishing this would be very good!
Check out our submission as well, if you have time! :)
i'm liking this low-poly art style. the enemy waves last a bit too long i think. the music's great, did you compose it or is it royalty-free?
Fun game! I liked the artstyle, and the music is really catchy! The boss is also pretty good, but maybe the sfx need more work. I'm not a huge fan of the 8 bit feedback sounds, and the cannons sounds are fairly weak. I like the slow down effect when you aim at the boss, and the mechanic is pretty fun, tho it would have been nice to have a slow down sfx to make it juicier.
Overall I had a pretty good time, great job! :D
thanks! this game has obviously alot to improve on. but i had to make decisions what was more important. because it was a gamejam. and big projects like this can hardly be perfect.
But still thanks for playing and giving feedback. :)
Of course, but those decisions are also what makes game jams so thrilling :)
It was fun, and the goal of all of that is to have fun and improve. I hope you'll learn something from all the feedback you get and continue to improve ;)
Yes I learned a lot from this jam :D
The most timeconsuming thing was rewriting bad/fast made scripts
Really cool game. It feels very polished to play and is a really enjoyable experience. Nice Job!
thank you!
Sooo good, I love the feedback when you get trapped or enter the boss room with the screen shake! and the monkey is very cute! Congrats on the submission
thanks! the monkey is indeed very cool!
The game looks nice overall and it's a pretty creative idea however i think you make it clearer when the boss takes damage, and the movement can be a bit weird sometimes.
thanks!
i agree wiht the movement being weird. especially wiht steps
my game just won't open ;-;
thats probably tour browser because its just webGL and by everyone it did work. wich broswer are you usring? and maybe try it in incognito. cookies can destroy these games.
estou usando o google, e ele fica carregando em uma tela preta
hum estranho. Isso provavelmente se deve aos cookies do Google. esse problema persiste no modo de navegação anônima?
This had no right to work as well as it does. Monkey, pirates, Matrix slow motion, the most outrageous concept I have seen so far, and had fun with it! Only gripe is the arrow key look movement. Good job!
Thanks! i just like monkeys.
At first i had my camera look wth mouse input. but the arrow keys fits the retro/ps1 style more.
Pretty fun game, loved the sound!
Thanks! the sounds are always very important so i made them perfect.
Very nice game :D
thanks!
