This game is really fun! I really like how expansive the options are for weapons and upgrades, and that the bosses are random. Nice work!

Very solid entry, the mechanics were on point, every boss was interesting in it's patterns very good game overall!

Nice game! making different type of builds is interesting and is something that can be expanded upon!

Ground textures might help so the player can pinpoint where they are on the map

The balance needs tweeking. if you just do melee damage + serated edge and get health when low, you can snow ball and beat every boss before they even do their first attack

Would be cool to see more archetype builds and bosses!

This is the game of the jam that I have played the longest, is just way to fun!!

Btw serrated edge with extra health is way too op, when you have 20 extra health buff and you start to upgrade melee damage with serrated edge you become literally immortal.

I remember seeing gifs of this in discord when it was in the very begging of development. It's come a long way.

Wow, this is a really good game. I love the concept of having dashing and parrying as the only method of attack - My own entry uses that, actually, haha - but I think the balancing is a bit off. The cooldown for the dodge and the reflect felt too long, and it took like 3-4 levels of reflect cooldown for it to actually start feeling fun.

There's also not that much feedback. It's hard to tell when you succeed in reflecting bullets since the area isn't marked. There's a swing animation, but it's not easy to tell when bullets overlap the correct area. The dash also doesn't feel good since you can get hit immediately after dashing. I also felt like I got hit for no reason sometimes? Maybe the hitbox is too big?

The sound effects also got grating after a while, but they were still quite alright. The graphics were also really good, though I wish there were some texture to tell where I was.

Overall, it's still a really good game, and I had a lot of fun with it! I think it definitely needs a lot of polish and rebalancing, though.

Pretty cool game !

I think you may want to lower the player health because it's really hard to die, but overall pretty fun !

Excellent game, very fun, lots of potentials

I think the player’s collision may be a little big

I love it but the player seems incredibly small in such vast terrain also, the hurt sound does get kinda annoying after some time:< but overall greate work!

I really like the idea! Unfortunately, the balancing is not so good, but it's a game jam so that's ok.

Also, I'm just not sure if the idea of melee works well in a bullet hell game as you have to get close to the boss to deal significant damage (the reflect move is weak compared to normal melee). Still very fun, though.

I would be grateful if you check out my submission as well!

Very interesting implementation, especially the tutorial/upgrades where you are not locked to a menu. The mechanic to reflect the boss bullets is also well thought. There is a lot of potential to this game if you work the balancing issues, I just got the thin sword and melee upgrades, stabbed the bosses to death real quick. I think tonning down the hit sound/effect would also make it a better experience.

Cool game :D

Really fun concept, that I really enjoyed!! Sadly it is still possible to cheese the whole fights since it is possible to use a melee build :P

but Great game anyways ;D

Really good game! It feels very polished and fun to play!

Nicely creative take on bullet hell. Haven't used a sword since Nex Machina! Could have done with some texture on the ground, as it's difficult to tell how you're moving on a totally green screen. But a fun concept, and well implemented.

This is so cool!!!

Never thought that I'll be swinging a sword in a bullet hell(´・ω・`)

The BGM is just incrediblely nice, plus the background, it feels like I'm in a amphitheatre((

It's really challenging, but overall not too hard and makes you wanna keep replaying.

In conclusion, this is just amazing!

Nice game :)

Very cool idea! I like the bullet deflecting mechanic.  Maybe a bit repetitive. With a little polishing this would make a nice game.

Right in the action from the start !

I really like how you structured the game without a single menu, everything is done by moving the character around, even the upgrades where you go to little stands to buy things it's really cleverly implemented :)

Gameplay is fun, the bullet deflecting mechanic works really well, i'd just say that prior to upgrades the cooldown feels reaaally long o_o and that it can be hard to judge your sword's range to deflect some stuff without getting hit.

However i enjoyed very much the amount of strategies you offer with the upgrades and the ability to swap swords once purchased is a nice touch as some weapons feel more suited to certain fights than others.

Overall quite solid already with just a few things to iron out.

Well done :)

This game was quite fun. My favourite feature is how you can create your own classes as you go. The weapon variety was quite nice, as well as boss pattern variety. My biggest comment is that attacking the bosses did not have much feedback.

There were some really interesting innovations to the bullet hell genre here! I appreciate your take on the genre. Great work.
