that’s fun, I liked it
Your game Is really good do it in full version bro
Aye Aye Captain!
Excellent use of theme, nicely polished and doesn't feel incomplete like most jam games do. Really liked this one.
Thank you so much!
This was the most interesting game I've played so far. The game was immersive, because everything fit together. I've read that you will keep developing, but in the current version, I felt like there were not enough different objectives or sets of choices on the planets (or I just had bad RNG). At first, I had to think about what to choose, but at some point I just knew the "better" choice for many of them which made the game less interesting after playing for a while. This was the only negative thing I could point out though, everything else was very good!
Thank you very much! I definitely will be spending time to make the dialog more immersive with wider ranges of option and paths to take. I really had to keep my scope as small as I could with this type of game in the time constraints of the jam. Thanks for taking the time to play and give feedback I really appreciate it. Hope you can check back in for the next update. I'm thinking about taking a month to do a big push and see if i can make something really worth sinking teeth into. Cheers!
I liked the concept and the art. I think it works well, but I would have liked a bit more interactivity with some events.
Still, it's a great job! :D
Thanks for playing!
Pretty fun game, I kept replaying it. If you decide to develop it further, one idea that I think could be nice would be the ability to look a little bit further ahead so that you can try to plan your route a bit more. I often felt like I as just taking blind guesses as to what the best path might be, rather than having enough information to try to make good decisions.
A middle click camera toggle will definitely be in the next update. Thanks for playing!
Really liked the strategy and management style of this game! Reminds me of F.T.L haha
FTL was an inspiration but my initial thought was Oregon Trail in space.
This reminds me of an old game I used to play when I was a kid. The different options you can choose make it so much cooler! Honestly, I would love to see further development of the game!
Give me a follow! I'm definitely going to push updates in the future! Thanks for playing!
I like the theming you went with for the game, and the supernova acting as a way of pushing you on was cool. I do wish there were a few more interactions, and sometimes the paths between planets overlap and get cluttered, but otherwise, great job!
Oh man I know. The pathing was a hard algorithm to crack.. I will be working on it after the jam. Heres what it looked like for the first couple days.
The concept for this is quite cool and I think it was executed well. The graphics and music fit well with the setting, and I also did feel the urgency and rush of having to figure out where to go next and make decisions per planet. The only thing though is that maybe at the start there could be more indicators on what the controls are because I was initially confused with what to do, but I eventually figured it out.
In general, good job!
Thank you so much! I'm taking notes for future development. I think a middle click camera toggle would be ideal myself.
Honestly, could play the game for a long time - very cool idea, implemented really nice! I was going for a similar gameplay with my game for the jam, but yours is so much better polished! Would love to play it more!
Thank you so much i going to continue developing it after the jam concludes! So many ideas..
Loved the literal take on the theme
Thank You!
I really like the idea! I enjoy sitting down and playing games where it's not about reaction speed but rather about reading, thinking about the best approach, and assessing the situation. Great work!
Thank you i'm glad you enjoyed it! I cant wait to update it in the future.
Really really cool game and concept, I wish there was more interactions that were mini games rather than dice rolls but everything is cool
I will in future updates I just had to keep my scope smaller.
Incredible game !
I love the idea of going from planet to planet saving people from a dying galaxy, so this game really resonated with me !
You've done an amazing job with this ! Bravo !
This is super cool. Giving me FTL vibes!
That was for sure an inspiration but I was going for Oregon Trail in space haha. In the future I would like to add some combat features. Thanks for the feedback!
This is probably the most creative game I've played yet. If you're looking for replayability, I think this is already pretty replayable. I will say, (cuz i DO NOT READ) the tutorials at the start, the first run was pretty confusing, so I think it'd help if there was some kind of in-game guide. Love how the supernova gets increasingly larger which puts a huge amount of pressure on you to save civillians. Though this would probably be overscoping: It would be cool to have a graphic of saving people, mining around, stealth missions, because the statistics, for me, don't convey an emotion. Rather, having a panel of you evacuating actual people and not just numbers, would make the whole story aspect of the game WAY more driven. Overall great game with the time given!
Thanks for the comprehensive feedback, after the jam I will definitely continue working on this game. My scope was a little big but I definitely want to add features like the ones you listed. I would really like it to be more story driven and emotional. That got lost in the time constraints for sure. Look forward to playing you submission.
i like the management aspect of this game a lot! it's cool how you tied in the theme for this game as well, the added pressure to outrun the supernova is a fun touch. really effective and fun!
Thank you for taking the time to play it. It means a lot to me cheers!
Nice one I really like the Idea! I think it might just be missing some indicator for what planets are merchants, unless i entirely missed that.
The mouse over the world does say merchant but it can be overlooked for sure. Also the ships orbiting the planets increase the odds that one will be there temporarily. I'm glad you enjoyed it thanks for taking the time to give it a try!
Really loved the gameplay and the strategy side of this! Love the way you read the theme. 10/10 fun game 💖
Thanks that means a lot! Had a blast doing this jam!
