I always got annoyed at the kernels that remained unpopped at the bottom of my popcorn bag.  I never realized that one of them was doing all the work popping the others.

Overall very nice.

It feels like something you'd find on the internet and play with back in 2008 or something like that.

Nice and hits a nostalgia note for me

This is a creative game with both leaping and jumping. The gameplay is quite fun, the graphics are nice, the audio fits very well, the BGM is relaxing.

Gameplay wise I feel like there are three phases: At first there are so much spaces and so few corns, and so the gameplay was more or less about chasing corn kernels. Then in the mid-game there are more and more corn kernels, but still enough space to move in; and the gameplay was pretty much rolling left and right popping everyone. Soon enough however, the space gets so constricting, and the gameplay becomes one of digging...

I think the gameplay starts becoming rather... not as fun as how it started once it reaches the late phase... I really wish the other corn kernels had more pushing power...

Also I think you should make the player's corn kernel a little bit different than the rest.

EDIT: Okay there's a fourth phase... at some point it's getting so constricted it's impossible to even dig and wait, and the constriction also allows you to clip through the wall as other comments have pointed out. I finally got stuck after I got send out of the wall and couldn't manage to re-enter this time...

I guess it's okay.

The gameplay does surely fit the theme perfectly; you are a popcorn kernel, whose job is to jump inside a pack of some sorts, and to hit other popcorn kernels, in order to pop them into actual popcorn. At first, it is fun to play, the idea is funny, and it feels satisfying to pop those kernels! However, the more kernels you pop, the harder it is to touch other kernels that are buried in the pile of created popcorn, thus instead of jumping, you need to start digging. And that, unfortunately makes this game not fun to play in the later parts of it, which is a real shame, because as I said, the first impressions are good!

As to sound effects and music, they're really good! The pops that kernels make feel oddly satisfying, and the music which uses percussion instruments, is nice to listen to, and at no point gets either annoying or irritating, which is a good thing!

Though, the graphics could be a bit better. They're minimalist, however, I think that due to used color palette, and the lack of background, they kinda feel bland.

Overall, it's an okay game, and it does interpret the theme well, however, it could use some more polishing.

Very fun! I made it to level 17 and thought I'd done well until I saw the comments!

Fun prototype!

I popped to 130.

Nice game that make me laugh! Maybe you can make the corn which be squeezed to 'pop' in order to let player escape from others' surround.  But this game is already fun!

This was really enjoyable! Fun and unique idea.

The game controls very well, and the popcorn physics are convincing and intuitive to interact with. There isn't much game here though, as there aren't win or lose states. It seems like a solid base on which to build a game where you had to use the popcorn physics to solve puzzles. I think the audio is somewhat adaptive, at least, the shaker sound which a new wave starts gave that impression; if so, that's a nice bit of polish!

So fun!! After a while, it becomes a little hard to see which is the players corn, but very fun nontheless. Great work!

Nice work. There isn't much to this game but for what it is, it works very well. It controls very well.

Ha, another fun little diversion game. I could see this maybe being a fun little mobile game someday.

5/5 for innovation and theme interpretation. If there was a rating for the name, that would be a five too.

Idea 5/5, name 5/5. Gameplay and graphics are 3.6.

Really cool idea, made it to wave 13 until I could't get to a kernel.  Also cool seeing this de with phaser 👍

I gave this game a high rating for innovation, but a low rating for gameplay XD It made my wife and I laugh together at how strange it was both to play and to watch. I made it to wave 21, but at about wave 16 my wife reminded me that I could stop any time I want. I just wanted to see if there was some sort of end-game, or if you could cause the cell wall to break. I (kind of) fulfilled the latter by causing individual kernels to leave the cell wall, and I also took advantage of this to get my kernel to pop out so I could come up from underneath. Not sure if this was a feature or a bug, but in any case, it added an extra dimension of amusement :)
