The art style in this is awesome. Everything looks really polished and controls well.

I would say you could trust your players a bit more.  Some parts of the tutorial in the beginning feel a little unnecessary and slowed me down from getting to the real gameplay. I would have figured out most of it if the button indicator just showed up, without the additional instruction.

I think you did a good job with the lighting. It's dynamic, but not obnoxious. Level layout and design have good flow. Good job!

A nicepixel-art adventure you got there! The mood is interesting and settles a nice story, the art and sound are great, but I found some bugs about crates not being pushable after restarting a room, guns disappearing and monsters that bite you from afar, which make it a bit frustrating. It's a great entry nonetheless! I hope to see a fixed full game soon!

Great game, I loved the feel of the levels and puzzle solving as I went through the game. Great job on setting the atmosphere for the game too, very well done on that. My only suggestions would be sprucing up the dialogue on the players, it felt a little robotic and the flow grammar could have been better. I also had trouble with picking up and dropping the tiny crates. Overall though amazing job and well done!

Some nice puzzles in here, and a spooky, dank vibe. Nicely done. What do you think of Unity's solution for 2D Lighting in a pixel art game? I'm trying to decide if I want to use it myself in a project, but I'm a little worried it'll screw with my color palette. Thoughts?

We used URP in our game.  Try it in your game and take a answer to your question

Nice game.

I got stuck in a zone with the man, two small boxes and an elevator. It seemed like a good time to switch characters, but E and Q did nothing. (both boxes on switches didn't seem to help me, and I didn't have the patience to walk back and forth trying combinations.)

Maybe the core conceit (character switching) could be made available earlier?

Still, high marks for execution, even though I suck at puzzle platformers.

Developer

Hi! Thanks for feedback and playing.

You mean, E and Q buttons doesn`t work, and players don`t switch? If yes, try play game in build for your OS, because sometimes WEBGL builds causes many bugs.

The first 3 levels for each player are made to show their main mechanics, advantages and disadvantages. After that, it's up to you to combine the characters' abilities to get through the levels further.

Like the athmosphere of your game - the dark corners and illuminated areas - this is all very well done, and the music contemplates this perfectly.

Hey there!

Really nice game overall! I really loved it when the cliché theme was “revealed” as this was one of my favorite games in childhood :) The levels were really nice especially when the two characters met. The tutorial is really nice placed in the game so good job on that.

I would love to see more of that!

Thanks very much! Glad you liked it.

As someone who LOVES 2D puzzle platformers, this was a pretty amazing experience! You even have guns and zombies in this game, so the cliché theme was definitely implemented perfectly. My only criticism is that a) the movement feels a bit too slow, and b) the box chuck was a bit unpredictable. Other than that, an amazing game!

I love the mood and the in-game tutorial is nicely done. The art is great and I like the 2d audio. I got stuck quite early when the girls needs to grab the small box on the right. the game indicates to use the mouse, but it don’t know how. I would love to play more before I rate. do you have a hint?

Developer

Hi! Thanks for feedback. For grab box in Alice level you need catch the timing and press Right Mouse Button.

ah, the right mouse button. somehow I misinterpreted the icon for the LMB. Really cool game. I liked the puzzles very much.
