I love the varied BGM with the scale change of turtle. Well polished!

Developer

Thank you very much :D It was a lot of fun composing and producing the song to also work well with the pitch changes.

A turtle eating pizza... Hmm, I think I have seen this somewhere before. Is this a distant cousin to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Developer

Maybe, it depends on when they get into the public domain :D For now, we can say she is a sort of teenage mutant PUNK turtle!

Nice sound variation. I might want to add some more uses for being big

Developer

Thank you for the comments and for playing :) I surely wanted to add more features for the bigger size, but time was not enough.

fun game with very nice music. However i didnt feel to increase the size.

Developer

Thank you very much for the comment and compliments on the music. Indeed, most of the feedback is about the increased size, which could have been more explored if we had more time on the project.

Thank you very much. I always like to spend some time composing and producing songs for my games, so it is very rewarding to hear compliments on them. Hard to say why the turtle is punk - who can explain the music taste of testudines, right? :)

fun game. great use of theme. I liked how the music and speed changed with scale size, though I didn't have many uses for the large size besides quick second maneuvers and then back to tiny . overall pretty nice game you have here

Developer

Thanks for the comment. Originally, the bigger size would also allow you to destroy some obstacles, but I ran out of time to implement and test it. Still, good to know that you found it useful for some occasions.

Really nice game! I didn't feel the need of being big because the small size was ok in terms of difficulty and enjoyment. Apart from that, really enjoyable game. Congrats!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game. Originally I wanted to have the bigger size to destroy some obstacles, but it was scrapped for now due to the lack of time.

very smooth i was a little confused about the benefit of being big tho. fun overall gj!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much. Originally, getting bigger would allow you to destroy smaller obstacles, but I ran out of time implementing this feature.

Wow, this is a super cute and polished! Great audio choices. Definitely feels like a mobile game I would find on the app store. Good job!

Developer

Thank you very much. We discussed the idea of releasing a mobile version of it in the future. Let's see :)

Game was polished enough and overall was good. I did not get  the advantage of getting bigger other than slowing down. Usually just going small was much more fun. Maybe getting big can crush some obstacles and takes some resources?

Terrain generation had very small problems but that was fine.

Developer

Thank you very much. Indeed, the bigger turtle would destroy some obstacles, but I ran out of time to implement and test it properly. Maybe for a next time :)

The background music speeding up or down feels great! Awesome graphics, too. The only issue that I found was that some obstacles/items overlap each other. Good job! :)

Probably the most fun game I've played yet in this game jam. I thought the music speeding up/slowing down based on the scale of the turtle was a fun and thoughtful touch. Great gameplay too! Only complaints are some pizzas would spawn in terrain

Developer(+1)

Thank you very very much :) I spent some time trying to solve the issue with the impossible spawns but gave up in the end. I might still work a bit on that aspect after the game jam is finished.

I really like the concept of scaling up or down not only your size but speed, beautiful art style too.

Developer

Thank you so much :)

Beautifully made and fun. Congrats!

Thank you very much :)

great idea to slow down when turtle bro is bigger, would love some life generating feature with the consumed pizzas though as it was easy to loose lives. nice entry!

Developer

Thank you very much. That's indeed a good idea - I could have used a certain amount of points (pizzas) to create extra attempts.

cute graphics and fun game

Developer

Thank you very much :)

Fun concept! Although I am not quite sure what benefits there are to actually stay big in size :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much :) Ideally, being bigger would also allow you to break some obstacles, but timewise I could not finish this implementation and test it properly.

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea to slow you down as you consume more and grow in scale! But it does make weaving through obstacles quite challenging

Submitted(+1)

Fun little game with cute graphics. Making the music go faster and slower depending on your scale is clever. I did however play almost the entire game in the smallest scale. The others were too slow for my taste and I did not see any upside to them. Maybe I am missing something ?

I did get quite a nice score on my 3rd or 4th try ;P
