Fun conveyor game! I enjoyed scaling up my factory. I kind of screwed myself over by expanding a lot and not preserving the speed of my conveyor belts, so I didn't get close to the monthly goal haha. I kind of wished the conveyors would maintain their direction/rotation as a dragged them, but it wasn't a big deal to put them back the way they were. Nice game overall! The rhythm of the sound effects firing off made for some funky jams. :)
Hey there, thank you! Yeah, when I originally made the conveyor system, a huge part of it was to detect adjacent pieces and auto-select/rotate the pieces. It ended up more frustrating than just letting the player choose pieces and rotation. However, I did keep some of the auto-rotate stuff as a sort of hybrid helper, but it was very much just thrown together at the end. As many comments (including yours) point out, it turned out to be anything but helpful in its current state ( -.-) Anyways, thanks so much for playing and providing your feedback!

Reached June, year 2 before I ran out of money to upgrade belts and couldn't meet the quota. It's quite frustrating as you've to keep starting from the beginning and that dopamine rush you would get from the later months is now gone.
The UI was fairly nice and simplistic, it kinda felt like Google's UI with all the colors and rounded corners. It could use layering though as sometimes you could end up clicking on something in the back.
Deleting belts or other items don't give you back any money, so it can become quite difficult especially after scaling, as you really need to plan ahead.
I feel like at a certain scale, the game should give you another Raw Materials Room along with another Van.
Oof.. yeah conveyors should be free, my bad. Glad you liked the UI though, despite the lack of layering. That's an interesting idea about gaining additional raw materials rooms. I definitely plan to try out a few things people have recommended after the jam. Thank you for playing and sharing all the great feedback!
I expanded my facility and had no money left to extend my conveyer belt to the truck so I had to watch my cookies pile up until I lost. Not being able to resell and move already bought parts is a little rough. Addicting and fun, Great work!
I'm sorry -.- it's unfun to lose that way and something I would absolutely change. Conveyors should be free and deleting stations should give some money back. Despite the issues, I'm glad to hear you had fun some fun with it. Thanks for playing!
Great theme interpretation, satisfying to watch money coming in. I wish you could move or sell existing equipment to make expansions easier - had to restart couple of times because I ran out of money while upgrading with track totally broken. More track types would also be great (3 way splitter, side splitter, etc.). Good job!
Thank you! Yeah, for some reason I thought selling equipment would make it too easy, but I regretted that decision after being able to play test longer (after the jam ended -.-). We did have a 4-way cross piece early on, but it made no sense to cross conveyor paths.. however, a 3-way split would’ve been a great idea! Thanks for playing and providing your feedback!

Interesting game, reached May year 10 times the Goal (20k of gains). Simple graphic but straight forward.
Base game is very good, but some problems makes it hard.
Looking forward to a polished version to play, very addictive game (as others stated).

Oh wow, you surpassed my playtesting best of sometime in year 3. I did find myself "saving" pieces as a sort of workaround, but, like you mentioned, the whole scaling system really needs to be reworked. Scaling up is too disruptive as is and almost feels like a punishment rather than the rewarding goal we were aiming for it to be. Also agree the UI needs significant work and optimization was, regrettably, a low priority during the jam. Really happy to hear you enjoyed it enough in it's current state to get as far as you did. Excellent game! I really enjoyed it! The main issue that I found was scaling the room without money :/ I had to start all over again. The game economy feels great! I would definitely play a "full" version in the future :) Great job!

It was a little hard to get in but game play was addictive. UI was fine but needs some refinement.
When you scale up your whole system gets screwed up because if you use all your money now you can't combine the production to sale because you can't buy belts.
Now there was 2 major things I would 100% change.
I would make the scaling part side by side so the first room you start does not change. I would still use the larger rooms for new levels though.
I would either make belts free and make their upgrade system apply all of them or make each part adjustable lengths with a max limit to length.
Overall it is a good game kinda like "Cookie Clicker" but in a much more better way.

One question if you get a minute - what did you mean by “make the scaling part side by side”? I agree the scaling system definitely needs work, but not sure I understand your suggestion. I was talking instead of making room bigger , create a new same size room in top/up part. Now this recommendation is for current game state. For example if you make belts free and same speed actually a bigger room makes more sense.

I really got into this game after figuring out stuff. It's a cool mix of strategy and sim that's pretty addictive and keeps you hooked.

Took me a few moments to get how everything worked, but then it became quite fun. Gets the dopamine rolling when you get things moving along. I do think it could use the ability to "pause" since misplacing something can screw you like Psynut mentioned, kinda like SimCity where you could control the speed of the game and such. Nice job!
Hey, appreciate the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it after a while. And yes, totally agree on the pausing feature. To be honest, “locking” movement during production was a late addition. It just helped avoid some game-breaking bugs we ran out of time to fix properly. Thanks for playing!
I really like the sim game. Some of the placement tools were a little frustrating, but I'm sure it would be a matter of fine tuning. And it took a while to really build up, but I was starting to get it cranking. Then I put a conveyor belt in the wrong direction, couldn't fix it after that and lost my streak.
Thank you for playing and sharing your feedback! It probably isn’t clear, but you can reverse conveyor directions during the “build” phase. Understandably, it’s also probably not clear that starting production locks everything into place which sounds like the issue you ran into. We had plans to make everything more intuitive, but ran out of time fixing bugs in the 11th hour. Thanks again for playing!
