This is a great job! :)
Although I think there's room for improvement, specially on the side of difficulty balancement, I had so much fun playing it :) Just out of curiosity, is there some aspect or feature you had to cut out due to time or other constraints? I opened a topic called "The Features Cemetery" and I wold like your contribution there, since this is one of the most rated games of the jam :)

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! The difficulty ramp is absolutely something I’ll be considerate of in future games, that’s become clear through this jam - especially with regards to hinting or leading the player towards certain goals.

I love your idea of a feature cemetery! Hardly a feature, but I had every intention to create all of the sounds and music from scratch as well, but that quickly got swept under the rug. I was hoping to add some glow and particle effects as well. As far as actual gameplay features, I had the opposite problem. I knew that I wanted to make a platformer around this one mechanic (scaling and using each other as platforms) but I really struggled coming up with unique ways of implementing that, as I didn’t want every level to play out the same way but in a different order of moves if that makes sense. Thanks for asking!

Fun puzzle game.  Once you get used to moving both it's quite entertaining.

This game is simple and complex at the same time : simple graphics, simple controls, simple interactions, but the complexity is in the liberty you have to turn the mechanics at your advantage. It's clever ! Congrats !

Thanks for the kind words, and thank you for playing!

Such a good game I spent like 10 hours playing! 🤣😂

Developer

Thanks so much for playing, glad you enjoyed it!!

Nice game!

I have tried several times to get to higher level. I did not realized that it can become the platform in mid-air, and waste so many times. But this mechanic is funny!

Developer

I hope that realization was more satisfying than annoying… I’ll need to work on making the mechanics more clear in future projects. Thanks so much for playing!

This was a very fun game. I enjoyed the music, and style. But I think the gameplay is the strongest part of the game! I like that it is pretty intuitive, and controls are easy to understand. Overall, really good game and bonus points for getting it to run in the browser!

Thanks so much for playing!

I liked the minimalistic design of the game: both graphics and levels look very clean and don't have anything unnecessary. I would prefer if the difficulty was a little bit more casual, but it didn't feel unfair, just difficult.

Great job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and thank you for playing!! Scaling difficulty is definitely something I need to improve upon.

Great one! Everything was polished and bug-less, I loved the music and the puzzles were cool. Platforming was a little hard, but very cool experience overall. Thank you for making it two player!

Developer

Thanks for checking it out!

Loved the puzzles!! I also really appreciate the simple but challenging mechanics, very cool! I will have to try this again with a friend :)

Cool game! 😄

Very similar concept to Neoway in this same jam!

There were definitely a lot of clever puzzles, that seemed impossible at first, but were solvable once you realized the path to victory!

I gave up at level 8, I feel like the control scheme is a little too rigid for me to make it work, but that’s probably just down to my terrible platforming skills.

In any case, solid platformer! Good job! 🙂

Thanks so much for playing! I’ll definitely be tweaking the platforming mechanics after this jam to make it a bit more approachable.

overall fun game good polish. I was able to soft lock my self a few times and sequence break a few puzzles but was neat to get good and controlling both cubes

Developer

The soft locking is my biggest regret of level design. Glad you had fun nonetheless!

The music and sound were really nice. The animation on the blocks was also very satisfying. Really appreciate the coop mechanic and the game play was really clever. Well done!

Played a little solo, seems cool! I'm going to return to this one later with a friend.

Very fun and original. 4th level's difficulty bump was higher than I expected. Level 9 wall jumps nearly made me quit the game.  Other than that addictive game.

Developer

The difficulty ramp and wall jumps will certainly need some tweaking, thanks for playing!!

The idea is very good and the difficulty of the game increases appropriately. We really enjoy it

This is a cool and fun platformer. The controls feel tight and the concept is really unique and well done. I feel like maybe making it a little easier for single player mode would be a good idea. Had a lot of trouble on level 4 playing solo but overall, good job!

Developer

Having a real single player experience is in the works! I’m thinking some sort of “freeze frame” type of mechanic, but haven’t worked out the details yet. Thanks for playing!!
