Well, I really liked it! Very well conveys what it's like to have a stray cat and every time to put it to sleep ahahaha.
The graphics and music are amazing! Great interpretation of the theme.
The only thing I would add is the information about the controls in the game itself, people don't always read the comments...

If this was a full game, itd be interesting to see more varied enviroments to navigate instead of just a living room. This is a great game jam game though, congrats.

Realm EscapeYou had me already when I saw that it is a cat game :). Very cool use of the theme (including the pun) and the feeling of controlling the cat is fantastic. You really managed to represent this "very sleepy" feeling in the controls. I love the music. Especially the song on the title screen is very catchy and very well made. Did you play this on real instruments (guitar or ukulele?) or did you use midi? Did you even sing on for the track :)?
Some smaller suggestions to further improve the game:
- A "retry" button (or key) would have helped, as sometimes I realized already early that I will not make it and then I had to still continue until I failed.
- The penalty you get when you bump into something felt a bit much. I think the game would even work if you would not remove energy for it. Just let the cat stall a bit before you can continue. So in this case it is still a penalty.
- It would be very adorable if the cat would sleep on the bed and not just fall through it.
